We found this food truck at the Paniolo Heritage Center for Saturday Farmers Market outside Waimea, and so glad we did. Our lunch of toasted cheese sandwich and tomato soup was freshly made (it took about 20 minutes) but so worth it.
Craving Homemade Grilled Sandwiches? A MUST! Cool staff help make your sandwishes- yummy accompaniments- we take home or eat at nearby parks- often split sanwich because it is rich and delicous- Great combination of flavors!
We can't say enough about how good this place is. Even the sides on our meals were great. Fresh tomato soup. The best dill pickles I have had...ever. Razor thin sweet potato chips. I had the reuben, and I am a reuben snob. I keep a list in my head of the ten best I have ever had, and this one has crashed the list. I put it at about 5, and I have eaten in 49 states. My wife had one called the phoenix and she is still talking about how good it was...the next day. At the Waimea...
