How can you sell 1 sushi roll for $30+ ? That's ridiculous to say the least! And a 18% gratuity no matter the size of your party is robbery. Shame on them forsure! Plus long wait times. Not worth it! Wouldn't recommend at all...

Paid over
$600 for three of us. Waited MORE than an hour for our food plus $50 for five shashimi slices is too moch…
To top it off, made us go get cash as they credit card machines was “acting up”….seamed low budget for the prices they charge.

The overall vibe and service were wonderful, but unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. The excessive sauces, low-quality ingredients, and imbalanced flavors were quite disappointing
I know restaurants are struggling right now and so I am writing this carefully and reluctantly. Also, we have loved this restaurant for years and have been loyal customers. But the other night our food showed up very late and the outrageously expensive steaks were ice cold like they had been sitting out, but the mashed potatoes were hot like they ran out of mashed potatoes and cooked some more and left our steak sitting out. My friend's fish dish came out cold and she couldn't eat it. after everything was dropped at the table, the waiter never came back to check on us. We asked for the manager after we got the bill for $400 (4 people) and she treated us as we were making everything up and we were the problem. Our waiter never apologized, the manager never apologized and the whole thing was incredibly uncomfortable. We will never return. This is hands-down one of our worst restaurant experiences ever.

Worst meal I have had in a long time. First clue only people in cafe on Saturday night. Food aweful..hard undercooked rice 10$ a bowl. Sashimi plate price quoted as 34$ oops, waitress came bk and said 45$. 4 kinds of fish including smoked salmon...never saw smoked salmon on a,sashimi plate before.service sloppy. Was told as the bill was presented a,18% was added ...not on menu not mentioned when arrived or were seated. Surprised didn't get food poisoning. Stay away

Great food, great atmosphere, amazing drinks. The chef there really knows how to cook a piece of fish. Its better than that other place across the street… The Bartender makes up amazing drinks and he can mix anything you ask for…

Unique variety, excellent flavors, and very fresh dishes. Nothing over seasoned. We had sushi (huge roll!), BBQ ribs, Fresh catch Ono, and Lamb. Each was tasty and beautifully presented. Good drinks, friendly attentive service, and live music created a peaceful, wonderful atmosphere. Definitely recommend the Red Water Cafe!

Have gone here twice and the first time was a alright experience but the second time I feel absolutely ripped off. Two rolls and a dessert for $80? I asked for a roll I had seen on their reviews which I guess they no longer had but they said they could still make for me. When I got there they told me my total and I was shocked to say the least. Idk how anyone can charge nearly $35 a roll and have it be falling apart and not up to par. Probably won't be coming back here again. Place is outdated and old feeling. One of the chefs didn't even show up for his shift and my wife had to wait almost an hour to get her food on our first date there. Luckily we were patient but the second experience ruined me tbh. I'll never understand how anyone can charge so much for such low grade sushi. The salmon wasn't fresh either. It's some kind of cured or lightly smoked salmon that isn't tender at all. And they added lemon slices to my roll when I didn't ask for it. Just sad

Reservation at 5:45 sitting at the table.. No one took our order until 6.. OK, no problem, appetizer didn’t come until 615.. ok I guess. Then salad and dinner came out together at 6:30. Cobb salad made both of our bellies hurt later. We ordered a large ribeye but instead we’re sent out a rack of baby back ribs that tasted like the plywood table we were eating it on. They should’ve saved the quarters they glued into the table and hired better staff. I pointed out to the waitress that we didn’t order the ribs but by that point it was too late to send it back for the right order because we had an after dinner engagement.. I’m not a hoity-toity. I don’t expect red carpet treatment but if I go out and spend over $100 on a meal I would hope that it is at least a nice experience. Personally, I’m not the person that will demand the meal be taken off that I didn’t order. I allow that to the establishment. They can make it right or not. It’s up to them.. When I got the bill, the waitress said she discounted the bill but the ribs were still over $50 and the waitress put on a self tip of 17% Which further aggravated me. She promised us the next time we come in she’ll take good care of us to make up for this time. No thanks..
