My husband & I were on the big island in HA for the first time. We were roaming around and came across this amazing pizza! The place is a pizza and taco place. So yummy and people were amazing. Cute outdoor seating!

Super yummy chicken masala burrito. Very unique and tasty. Quick and affordable. They need more seating.

I had a great squash taco for the veggie choice. Very good and filling. I had a potato taco a month ago, wow so good, hope to get that on the menu next time.

Pizza was overpriced and not delicious. Also tried Rosa's taqueria. It was terrible. Unfortunately a bad experience.

We are just visitors to Waimea and in all my research for our trip we never saw this place mentioned but Taco Rosa should be shouted for the rooftop and on every travel blog. We luckily stumbled across it and glad we did! We have had lots of tacos in our life and these are definitely at the top. So unique and delicious. The meats are all so moist and the tortillas are perfection. We had the butter chicken, butternut squash, rope Vieja. All delicious but the butter chicken was my favorite. We planned part of our trip just to come back to get more. They share a space with Pau pizza and we also had their hummus, salad, and a slice of pizza. All worth trying!

The food was okay for what you pay. A little pricey in my opinion. And they charge extra for a very mediocre sauce. I know theres effort there but there is still more potential.

Not at all a Mexican restaurant. Pass on this! YOU can find much better in Waimea so keep looking!

It's possible that a few of you haven't experienced a delicious taco. We realized our decision wasn't great when everyone in the parking lot headed to the pizza place. I've actually had better tacos at Taco Bell. The tortilla was quite chewy, the shredded beef seemed greasy, and the addition of carrots didn't work well. I suggest considering switching from black beans to pinto beans, adding a couple of jalapeños and a touch of lard – you can find all these at KTA. Also, you might want to make some tasty refried beans. The Spanish rice appeared to have red food coloring and an overload of taco seasoning. I was grateful that I decided to get 2 cans of Sprite as they were both needed to wash down the meal. I don't even want to get in to splash down but I have had lingua Tacos that didn't have that effect on my balloon knott.

I love this place so much and was so surprised to find real tacos in Hawai'i! The tortillas are nixtamal and homemade. The carnitas is a gift from the gods. I enjoyed the sambal chicken and the potato taco as well. The Keiki quesadilla I can eat all day, everyday with toasted cheese on the outside and melted cheese on the inside--yum!! It's SF pizza made with sourdough and quite tasty. The crust was good and the dough was thin--I ate my slices cold and still enjoyed them.

Holy mother of all tacos. I am mind blown on how delicious the tacos are. I had the opportunity to try their special taco which was Indian butter chicken and the taste was spot on. The fusion of the Mexican and Indian flavors blended perfectly together! The other verities of chicken and vegetarian options were just as delicious. Definitely recommend everyone coming here to try it out. BEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND!
