Good stuff. We had the Classic, the Special, and the Teri burger. All were delicious. I'm not sure what kind of bread they use but it is the highlight. Toasted and tasty.

The toasted sandwiches hit the spot! A little on the slow side, but the wait was worth it! Thank you so much for this much needed comfort food. I'll be back to try the spicy chicken sandwich. :)

This is one of those occasions when first impressions DO NOT last. First off, it took a while for our sandwiches to be made. I thought, "Does it really take this long to make sandwiches?!". Sorry, I will admit I was a bit hangry due to many hours of black Friday shopping. The other issue I had was how the two sandwiches we ordered were just not appealing to the eyes - both looked as if they lack flavor and should have only took 5 minutes tops to make. But, oh boy was I wrong! The sandwiches we got were the 808 toast special and the loco moco but in between rice instead of bread. The entire time I was eating the 808 toast I kept saying "Mmmm" in between bites. I then thought to myself, "How can a sandwich this plain looking tastes so out of this world?!". Everything just worked together - the cabbage, egg, pickles, ham. And then there was the loco moco sandwich. The meat patty was soft and flavorful on its own but then there were onions that just made it even more sublime. The sauce was perfect, not too salty and with a bit of sweetness that pulled everything together. These sandwiches were undoubtedly worth the wait. Price is reasonable and the workers were nice from the get go. I'm definitely excited for my next visit!

Wow. So impressed with my #1 classic sandwich yesterday. Loved the buttery toast, fresh cabbage and savory, slightly sweet mix of ham, egg, corn (yes, there was corn in there) and cheese. It is pricey at just under $6 for the sandwich alone. But it was so good! Wait took about 5 minutes, and there's seating to the side. My recommendation is grab a sandwich and head to a park nearby or somewhere cooler to enjoy your meal. I could probably make this toast at home if I had all the ingredients, hence the 4-stars - but for taste, this place is 5-stars. Def. will be back to try other flavors - though the original will probably be hard to beat.

So their food truck is currently located at Waikele Shopping Outlets, in the parking lot between Calvin Klein and Sketchers. As this was my first trying this food truck, I gotta say it delicious! I've had some of the other food trucks there, however, 808 Toast stands out from the rest. The other trucks have really good plate lunches. But if you're not in the mood for a whole plate lunch, then I recommend 808 Toast. They have a great selection of sandwiches, from what I heard are original recipes. They're also on the inexpensive range, but don't be fooled, their sandwiches are packed with a lot of ingredients and flavor. Next time you're at Waikele Outlets, be sure to give them a try

One of the most underrated food trucks in waikele! Would highly recommend Wish they had a takeout phone number especially for those who need to order ahead of time.

Their egg sandwich or "808 toast special" is amazing. Ever since moving to Waikele (right next to Skechers) they've added things to the menu. The bugolgi toast and spicy chicken roasts are also worth trying out. Great place to eat at if you're taking a break from shopping or if you work in the mall!

808 Toast is a lunch truck parked on Kapolei Parkway next to the park on Fridays. So the menu is their Korean-style sandwich, chips, and a drink. The "808 Toast" is a sandwich consisting of ham, egg, cheese, pickles, and shredded cabbage with a savory "pickle juice sauce" in between square Japanese-style bread. The toast is made-to-order which takes a few minutes to prepare. For $6, it satisfies your taste buds and will fill you up. Great news is they do accept plastic! My only concern was not having any napkins provided - can get kinda messy eating it. They're also unable to cut the sandwich in half making it difficult to share. Owners - if you're reading this please have napkins for the customers and a knife in your truck. After all, I did give you 5 stars!

They have one sandwich here, A delicious and filling sandwich! This is a Korean Street sandwich that is more on the sweet side because of the sauce but the meat and pickle balances out some of the sweetness slightly. It's perfect as a brunch sandwich because ham cheese and egg. Also they do sell a bag of chips I think it Maui onion, I should've gotten it because it probably would've complimented the sweetness with the savory chips. And they have a drink not sure how many or what tho. Check them out !

Their sandwich is so good! I really enjoyed it! Only one sandwich as of now but I can't wait till they introduce more! Definitely will go back for more. Owners are very nice and friendly that's always a plus!

Great sandwich!! Kind of like a Cuban sandwich with a twist. Love the kiwi sauce... Can't wait to go back.

They only offer one sandwich but it's a winner. Egg, ham, pickles, cabbage, cheese, and a Korean sauce on toasted Japanese white bread. It's a great breakfast sandwich, not too strong on any of the flavors but very tasty nonetheless. The ham and egg are cooked perfectly and the pickles add a nice sweet crunch (a different kind of cheese would be nice and optional bacon would be awesome). And it's only $6 so I picked up a bunch for coworkers and they all loved it!
