Acapulco Mexican Restaurant offers some of the best Mexican food in Hawaii at an unbeatable value. Guests can enjoy delicious margaritas and Moscow mules, and there is live music on Thursday nights. The service is quick and friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience. The menu features a variety of burritos, including the massive "the big one" macho burrito, as well as chimichangas and other dishes, all prepared to perfection. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere, highlighted by a life-sized cardboard Dwayne Johnson in the bathroom, and it provides a large free parking lot. While the food quality is excellent and the prices are great, it can be a little hard to accommodate families over five people. Despite this, it remains a favorite family restaurant, with many visitors planning to return multiple times. Some guests found the complimentary chips and salsa to be insufficient for the group, leading to an additional charge, but overall, the experience is positive.
