Don't get me wrong I love Black Sheep ice cream, I always have since they opened up in Waipio. The flavors they come up with are great and so far I have never had any issues with the ice cream. What bugs me the most about coming to this location is the service that I receive almost all the time I go there. I don't know if it's just my luck or something but every time I go, there is a young girl who looks like they are still in high school or just out of high school and they are rude, unfriendly and look like they don't want to be there. On my recent visit I stood in line as there was someone in front of me, I don't know if this person in front of me was the boyfriend of the girl working that night but she knew my husband and I were standing there as she seen us walk through the door. Of course no greeting when we walk in. She scoops the guy his ice cream then continues to talk to the guy and flirt with him as if we weren't standing there waiting to order. I was waiting to see if she would turn to us and say can I take your order but no it was about 5 minutes before she even looked my way and I was like hello can I order? I didn't get a thank you for waiting, nothing! And I don't know why every time we go in there, whether or not it's super busy or slow there is only one girl scooping ice cream and working the cash register. Please do better especially since it's a popular location to get ice cream have more friendlier staff.

Another hidden gem on Oahu. Not your typical ice cream parlor. Limited flavors but they all sound delicious. You won’t be disappointed. server was great and helpful while she described each flavor. It’s close by Costco in a small shopping

The ice cream was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy and felt warm! The service was awesome and the workers there were happy to let us try flavors! I got the sugar daddy, a vanilla ice cream base, and their homemade brown sugar cookie dough! It’s amazing and if i go to Hawaii again, I will have to come back :)Parking: 15 minute load and unload parking that we used.Kid-friendliness: VeryWheelchair accessibility: No stairs

Went there last night. I noticed the worker (a young girl) looking at me even before I opened the door to enter. No greeting, and I stood in line behind the couple that was in front of me. The girl gives them their ice cream without saying anything. I walk up to the worker (still no greeting) and place my order for two pints. She grabs the cup by the rim (meaning she put her fingers INSIDE the cup) which is absolutely DISGUSTING, does the same for the second pint, and gives them to me still without saying anything. While she was scooping the ice cream she looked outside when she noticed more customers walking in; clearly she was irritated by all of us inconveniencing her. Of course it occurred to me to say something, but with a worker like that you never know if they'll spit in your food when she has her back turned to you so I had to go with the lesser of two evils. Managers/owners-You really shouldn't leave a disgruntled worker who has no common sense working by themself. I don't know why a simple trip to get some ice cream had to be so unpleasant.

I think they're getting desperate with hiring employees cause the customer service is TERRIBLE. No greeting when we walked in, no "what can I get you", just silence. So I just started to order assuming he was ready cause he didn't say anything. We also told him that we wanted covers waited for our order, didn't know it was ready cause he's apparently a mute. Walked up and said could we get covers? We got a big sigh of just being irritated that we asked that, even though we clearly asked when we ordered. He gave us covers that didn't even fit! I feel this location is going down hill. The workers are lazy, no customer service, not friendly. We went on 2/4 around 645-7PM. Only thing good is the ice cream, but even that the scoops look skimpy

The best ice cream ever! I had the honey comb with real chunks of honeycomb. It was so creamy and rich!

A friend recommended we stop by, so we did. We only got one scoop of the mocha ice cream, and it was delicious! We thought two scoops were needed, but one was more than enough for the two of us. The ambiance and atmosphere inside is incredible! The staff is friendly and fast! Good spot to stop by for ice cream.Men, beware! They have a sign showing women tip better than men!
