I am a member and also an Instacart shopper. While doing a Instacart shopping today I grabbed a bottle of juice that I wanted to personally purchase with my own money and membership. I had two orders that I had to complete at this store. Just came from another store Lowe's for Instacart. So I was very disappointed and thirst when Nick had advised that I was not able to "shop" for myself as an Instacart shopper. I joined Instacart last month with the training I had to complete fresh in my mind, I recall that as a shopper we were able to do so. Nick took the item away and proceeded with my batches. I get home contacted I Costco via phone and the woman told me it's because i'm being timed as a shopper. I did share that in my lessons and training with Instacart they advised us that it is allowed. Then the woman changed her reason saying it is I Costcos co tract with Instacart. Sad, I feel if people I device industry are not certain of the exact reason they should be humble and say they don't know but can find out. Rather than keep disappointing the customer. Still determined to find the correct answer I reach out to Instacart. And they were able to reconfirm we as shoppers are allowed to shop during a batch. Do better Costco Waipio. Try not to embarrass your members who are trying to quench their thirst while making side cash.

There is a wide variety of items here at Costco. I could shop in here for a long time. Most workers are helpful, some are just ok but not rude. I only buy bulk on items I enjoy so the bulk items work for me. Love the limited shipments they have. Got my sheepskin rug, cat playhouse and hobby items here. If u c something at a good price - buy it - will be gone if u return later. Ample parking- only bad thing is the handicapped parking got moved farther away from the store. The elderly have to walk into lanes to get to the handicapped area. Before it was next to the side wall of Costco. This is the main reason for the 4 star. Also there is no sign to indicate where the line begins for the self - check out. Needs to be indicated clearly or the workers will yell at u

Costco in Waipio is like any other Costco on Oahu. Lots of people in line before it opens, 1000, most days. Parking and lines for gas are also typical. Iwilei may be more hectic but not by much. I don't have a family so my shopping time is quick as is my checkout time. I usually utilize self-checkout but today, 10.Dec, I used the regular checkout. Not much of a line thus it was even faster. Got some Truffle Mac-n-Cheese - stove top and/or microwaveable - along with usual staples. Truffle- anything at Costco...worth a try.

You can't beat Costco Hot dog and a drink. For the price and quality it's worth it. It is to bad they discontinued a lot of menu items.

As a Costco executive member I'm very upset to write this review as I love Costco especially the Waipio location. My review today is about an unfortunate unfriendly worker who was handing out samples in front of the dairy section. She was serving the cheesy bake potatoes... while waiting patiently with my two little babies ... she put the samples out and I grabbed two sample (one for each of my babies) . She then snapped at me and said I can't grab the samples from the side and I had to grab them from the front.... Then repeatedly said "yeah you don't do that don't grab from the side" as I said ohh I'm sorry and walked away... Costco has been set to a standard and every experience I've had has been pleasant and great with a super friendly staff. Perhaps she had a bad day but in any case she could have stated her opinion in a more professional yet constructive manner.

The food is as expected for Costco. They have a mango smoothie drink that is okay, but is a little on the sweeter side. The buns were a little on the stale side for the hot dogs. Service was okay, but I would suggest having one line and then calling each person to the window instead of three lines and three windows from an efficiency standpoint.

Don't buy the NEW roast beef sandwich doesn't look like the picture online....there are three thin slices of meat you can't taste. Come'on Costco..That's terrible....

The employees at the Waipio Costco Food Court are consistently pleasant!The lines are always long due to the sheer volume of customers, but no matter how many characters the employees encounter before me, they are always cordial and patient! They take my order with a smile, makes sure I have what I requested, then moves on to the next customer. That is excellent service!

Where can you go for a Jumbo beef hot dog and soda for $1.50 or a mega size pepperoni pizza for $1.99? Costco food court! I enjoy coming to the Waipio Costco food court because it's not as crowded as Kapolei and the line moves fairly quickly. I wish they would bring back their combo pizza but that was a nationwide thing to end that after covid. There are tables to sit down and eat after or before shopping. It's a great cheap date or family lunch or dinner. Highly recommend!
Costco's has really good food at a great price. I mostly only go for the pizza. Pepperoni pizza is my go to and they do a decent job at it. Great go to for a quick dinner for the family or food for a party.

I come here for a fast and cheap eats. The lines are long but move fast. The churro is good and the hot dog not bad. Sometimes the chicken bake tastes funny and I can't complain about the $10 pizza. They only have pepperoni here which I normally don't like but it reminds of of Chuck E. Cheese pizza which I like. I just hope they bring in combination pizza.

I sent my son to buy a large pepperoni pizza. We got the pizza than we went home. Once we got home I opened up the pizza and I was disappointed. How dare these worker sent my son this pizza knowing the damm pizza is all burned. Waiting - Check your food before you leave Costco. See the picture of this below attached to this message.

Had to make a quick run to Costco today to get a few things (including a rotisserie chicken) & stopped by the snack bar afterwards. Since it was the middle of lunch hour, lines were long, moved slow. I noticed they only had 2 windows open. I saw a new item on their menu & as we all know, that comes far & few between. This was a mango smoothie for $2.99. The menu stated that it had 4 servings of fruit, no added sugar, no additives or preservatives, & 360 calories. Decided to give it a go & also got a slice of cheese pizza to share with the hubby. Took a sip of the smoothie & boy did I wake up! It was so tart/sour tasting, totally unexpected. When it said no added sugar, they weren't kidding. It didn't have the taste of a ripe mango but more like an over ripe mango going sour. I didn't enjoy it at all. I didn't want to toss it so I did finish all 16 oz but took little sips. Even my hubby went WOW when he tasted it. I usually like everything on their menu but this item will not be a repeat. If you like a tart/sour tasting smoothie, then you'll like this.

Leaving this location I saw they had monster churros! Had to have one......waited in line for a few minutes. Ordered it, looked amazing and was hot! Got to the car...first bite...MEH. Not worth your time. The dough to sugar/cinnamon ratio was off. It was super bready. Definitely not like the churros I'm used to in Texas...Much sad.
