When I first walked in, I immediately noticed that the workers were very blunt. When we asked where the bathroom was, they seemed annoyed and rude, especially when we asked for the code again because I couldn’t hear them clearly. A female worker near the bathroom was also rude to several customers, and I even heard others complaining about her behavior. The food was okay, but some of it wasn’t cooked very well. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend eating there, the atmosphere was uncomfortable, and I ended up feeling sick and nauseous for a few hours after my meal.

I always get their pork adobo fried rice omelet when I'm visiting the island. It's always good. 👍 The parking lot gets packed during peak hours so be prepared for it. The employees have approachable demeanor.

The efficient aunties here take care of business! They bust through the line quickly and then you have your food really quick! I got the December special with an add-on and everything was good. These aunties take care of business and they take care of you. Much respect and love to them!

I had the most reviewed and documented Triple D pork rice ordered from Elena's. Sadly I was disappointed with huge portions lacked flavour and dry pork.
I have had better pork rice wrapped in omelette before. Sorry Elena's, would not recommend.
Also, keep your valid ID ready while picking up your order. Plenty of parking spots, the restaurant space is huge too.

My family has been regulars at Elena’s for countless years, and we love this restaurant so much! On my most recent visit, I came to try the November special, which included adobo fried rice, lechon special, pork guisantes, and pancit—all for only $17.75! The plate was packed to the brim and could easily feed two people. They have the best adobo fried rice on the island!
Even my brother, who is the pickiest eater (he only eats chicken tenders and pizza), LOVED the November special, it felt like a miracle! You pay up front at the cashier, and if you choose to dine in, there’s a nice dining area available. Service is quick and friendly, and if you’re getting takeout, I recommend calling in your order since they get busy because the food is just that good. There’s also plenty of parking.
Thank you, Elena’s, for always serving consistently delicious food with aloha!

This is the coldest customer service I’ve had in the island.

Authentic and so worth the wait! First time in Hawaii and we had to try Elena’s! I don’t usually eat Filipino food out since my other half is Filipino and we usually have it homemade, but this spot definitely lived up to the hype.
There was a long line when we went on the weekend, and you do have to wait for a table until the staff clears it — but honestly, it was worth it. I noticed a lot of people ordering takeout too, which says a lot about how popular this place is.
I got the deal meal and mostly went for the pancit — you really can’t go wrong with noodles! It was flavorful and comforting, just like home cooking. Even though we were already full, we had to get halo-halo to end the meal — and it did not disappoint.
If you’re in Oahu and craving real Filipino comfort food, Elena’s is definitely the spot!
By far, this is the utmost original Filipino restaurant in Honolulu that serves authentic home-cooking dishes. This is my topnotch favorite Pinoy eatery and I come here frequently. Their food servings are generously huge portions and the servers are very amiable and attentive and special mention to RICHARD, the funny and friendly owner who interacts and engage hlmself with diners. I highly recommend Elena's Filipino Restaurant which is celebrating 50 glorious successful years serving the community of all kinds of nationalities. I couldn't wait to come back here again and explore their other sumptuous menus. MABUHAY ELENA'S ON YOUR HALF CENTURY OF EXISTENCE in making your various patrons happy and satisfied in experiencing your kind of original and unique kind of distinct Filipino cuisines. May you guys continue your infectious of thoroughly genuineness of making your awesome restaurant thrives!

They used to have breakfast buffet, but I guess they stopped doing that. Their adobo fried rice omelet is their specialty, but they make other good Filipino and Filipino Hawaiian dishes too.

Real Filipino food ! Had their special mixed plate of pork adobo, pork pansit, lechon, adobo omelette. Also their dinuguan soup. The portions were generous….enough to split between two people. Can’t wait to come back and try their other dishes. Locals only, no tourists.

They have great Filipino food. Always ordered the Adobo fried rice omelet with chunky meat. Did order banana lumpias, but did not receive it. (Was not charged.) It is best to call in since plates are made to order, and you don't have to wait too long.
They do have a section to dine-in.

Amazing Filipino food in Hawaii! The dishes were full of flavor and authentic, portions were generous, and the staff were super friendly. Great spot for a casual meal with family or friends.

Food was piping hot and good! Atmosphere is relaxed. The restaurant is nice and clean. The service was spotty in this regard: I ordered via the menu. Server goes to the kitchen, comes back, and tells me that what I ordered is not available and not possible. I assume it was the cook in the kitchen. I direct her to the menu and point to where the option for my order was and remind her that she charged me for the option I asked for. When the food comes out, my order is what I wanted. So why did the person in the kitchen tell her to tell me it wasn’t possible? They need to get their act together in that regard. Other than that, it was a decent experience.
