It's a small little Mexican restaurant in Waipahu. Staff is very friendly. Food tastes really delicious. This is my third time coming to this restaurant. Their shrimp enchiladas were very tasty. It came with rice and beans. Portion size was a little small for what you pay for. My wife ordered the tostadas with hamburger, and it wasn't to my liking. Their hamburger mixture has peas in it in which I felt didn't match. The Birria tacos is amazing! This was the first time I've ever tried this. These tacos are very cilantro forward. If you're like me, where cilantro tastes like soap, I can tell you that these are delicious and don't taste like soap. The portion was small, in my opinion. I just wanted more! Esquites, which is their street corn, is very tasty, very creamy. The street tacos are very tiny. You can gobble them up in 1-2 bites. Fried ice cream is okay. Portion size is good for 2-3 to share. The banana loca is just amazing! I highly recommend this. It was just warm and flavorful, with a scoop of ice cream on top. It was perfect for my wife and I to share. Overall, I will be coming back here for more. On all visits, we spend an average of +$70 for two of us. Food is really tasty. Just portion size could be better.

The shrimp taco is soooo delicious. The shrimp is tasty and the sauce in the taco is so good. I also added both salsas. I’m visiting and had to go twice just for this taco! The rest of my family raves about the Birria taco - so I’m assuming it’s yummy too!

I stopped in for a birria taco. It was fresh and hot with a delicious connsume for dipping and a spicy sauce on the side. The service was friendly and timely. It was hot in there, though, so I took it to go. Definitely recommend and will be back.

My wife and I have catered Fridas for her 40th birthday party and the food and service was absolutely amazing. The constant updates throughout the process and great communication. Pricing is reasonable and fair and the food was outstanding. Thank you so much Fridas for the memories and great food

Frida’s catered my son’s rehearsal dinner and it was awesome!!! Not only was the food legit and delicious (opinion of Texan Mexicans!), but working with Anny was a joy. They were professional and friendly. Our wedding party couldn’t stop raving over the street tacos and tres leches (which had candied pearls and a slight cinnamon horchata taste). We hardly had any leftover! They also showed up to the minute of the time for delivery! You are missing out if you don’t try Frida’s!

Had there birria tacos. They where amazing. Im from los Angeles where you have multiple options and none of them compare. I was speaking the the cook and he mentioned he was from Puebla Mexico. They have a good sason for mexican food. Can't wait to try something else tomorrow. By Far the best food in the island. My wife and kids where stoked when we tried it. We have dine from all of the exclusive and hole in the walls in the island and nothing will knock there food. You won't go wrong. It's a must if your looking for mexican food in general!
