Hole in the wall Chinese food restaurant located next to Savers in the Waipahu Shopping Plaza. Heard about the $5.99 breakfast special before 10am with fried rice, 2 eggs, 2spam, 2port sausage, 2 bacon and mac salad so had to tryπŸ€™

Arrived there maybe about 15 minutes after it opened and line was packed. Ordered 2 breakfast special and 6 pork hash to go. Lady said there was 10 people ahead of me so no problem... Worth the wait for 2 breakfast specials and 6 pork hash for $22.

Took maybe about 15 minutes, got the order and took it home. Food looked better than it tasted. Eggs overcooked, mac salad watery and mushy (didnt eat) and fried rice dry and tasteless. Meats were good, ended up throwing half the plate away:(

Pork hash was good for the price but ive had better. Maybe for the price of the breakfast special its cheap eats but ill pay more for better quality. 3 stars.

Restaurant looks old and dated on the interior but food is a good value for the money. I ordered a breakfast plate before 10am and added 2 crispy gau gee and total cost was $8.37.

Have been here a handful of times. Good prices for the portion size. The mahi mahi is my favourite. Service is quick and the items I chose were cook to order and fast to come out.

Today I got the 3 item bento with soft drink for $11.99. You don’t get to choose the items but it would’ve been good value had the orange chicken not been overcooked, chewy and drenched in a thick sauce.

Rice cake super good! The best! BUT I had the turkey tails. I love turkey tails and their turkey tails was disgusting! Feathers on, super dry and expensive. I wasted good money and I was hungry. Super disappointed and the cashier told me I was wrong I just don’t like the taste. My family cleans ours I guess I not use to eating shitty turkey tails.

Our first time there because of high reviews. They don’t give you a chance to look at the menu . Very pushy.. The food was not that great . The roast chicken on cake noodles with oyster sauce was salty. Noodles was dry, Little sauce . Char siu was not fresh .

We've eaten at this restaurant for years and always found the food very good even though the help there is very pushy on ordering more items. They longer have a menu to order from and we relied on ordering by phone and quoted prices for each of our dishes. What we were quoted and what I was charged were totally different. When I was told of the price, I told them that was more than what was quoted. I asked for a receipt with the total cost but not of the price breakdown. I paid and decided to take the food home as we were ono for their food. I took the food home and my wife was upset at the disparity in pricing. She called and spoke to the girl that had taken her order and was told that she would call us back. We never received a call or explanation. We went back ourselves and received a rambling but no breakdown in the pricing of the individual items. We were not getting anywhere so we decided not to move forward and told them we would not frequent this establishment again because of their shady prices of their items and lack of an itemized menu. I will share my experience with my entire Ohana.

I had a 2 choice lunch plate. I asked for a hot mustard. Filipino lady asked " what is it for "? Jus like she didn't wanted to give me a mustard with my $18 plate i purchased. If the customer ask for a mustard why do you ask them what is for. It's not her problem what I'm gonna use the mustard for. She was jus rude. If they ask for a mustard , jus give them . No need ask what is it for. She shouldn't be in this kine of business with that kine attitude.

I am from New York City and some employee told me about this place and so we went and tried ordering they did not know what we were ordering and took our order and invented the dishes and then tried to charge us $ 90.00 us dollars and we could not understand such outrages charges and we paid anyway and walked home and sat down to eat the almost $100.00 meal and upon tasting it all we decided to throw it all away because it tasted so very bad and we were very hungry!... So we felt that they had taken advantage of us because we mentioned at the very beginning that we were from New York City and they let us have it!... And they were so disrespectfully so loud as if they were in the mountains making sure that they could be heard by their neighbors far off in the distance. the place was dirty so I highly recommend that if you don't want to waste the Hawaiian hard-earned money you do some Google research when searching for the best Chinese restaurants. Your prices are extremely very, very high In Hawaii so if you want to dine out check for the Best reviews for 2024 before going out to eat!... Sweet felt like we were held up by a thief, this place so don't go there unless you want to throw away good-earned cash, please do not go to this restaurant cause if you do then you'll then say to yourselves we should have heeded the advice of the kind customer!...
