Disappointing Halo-Halo Experience Yesterday, I had an incredibly disappointing experience after craving for a Magnolia Halo-Halo. Initially, I ordered a medium size but had to upgrade to a large due to adding corn, which was fine. However, things went downhill from there. After placing my order and paying, I was told that they had run out of dome lids, so they had to put the Ube cream on the bottom instead. I didn't mind this change. However, when I received my halo-halo, it was a complete mess!! The lid wasn't secured, milk was dripping down the sides, and it was wrapped in Saran Wrap. How was I supposed to enjoy it like that? I had to unwrap the mess right on the counter, using a bunch of napkins and trying to clean it before walking away. Despite my obvious frustration, the staff didn't offer a remake or a better solution. When I finally managed to clean up the cup and asked for a clean lid, they gave me one without a slit for the straw/spoon. After requesting a lid with a hole, I was given one that didn't fit the cup properly. I had already struggled for 5 mins getting the cup cleaned up and ready for lid so, I didn't care about at this point. To add to the disappointment, the halo-halo was extremely sweet, which was not enjoyable at all. Overall, it was a horrible experience.

The Magnolia Ice Cream inside the Seafood City Market in Waipahu needs to open some locations in SoCal because it was very good lolol! There's various location in Hawaii and one in Las Vegas, Nevada, so I hope they consider expanding. I've been on the hunt for the best ube places and I'm so glad I finally got to try Magnolia's in Hawaii. It's been named one of Hawaii's Best by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser for at least a couple of years (2021 and 2023-although I didn't see the 2023 sticker, just saw it on their Instagram page). It's also a bit wild that I can get a pint of ice cream from the market for the same price as a tiny scoop from here, but it's alright. I tried the ube cookies and cream and it was sooo good. I would definitely be back in the future to try other flavors.

Fantastic halo halo. I did the popular mahalo halo and it hit the spot. On a hot summer day in Hawaii, you just cant go wrong. Do some shopping, grab some Filipino grills (I had the grilled squid with squash) and then halo halo on your way out.

I waited for them for a few minutes and it took a while for them to finish my order. I understand that the worker is a bit older though.

I tried using a gift certificate here and the cashier told me their system is not updated to use it, even though I used a gift certificate here before. They didn’t even try to figure it out on the cash register or try to ask someone else for help.

I love this place! One of of the best Halo Halo for sure! Wish they made the scoops of ice cream on the top a little bigger. 2 bites and all my Ube ice cream is gone.Friendly service.Good amount of seating.Conviently located in the Seafood City Grocery Store in Waipahu.Great Parking.

After searching every where for the best Halo-Halo, I finally found my spot! This place is located inside of seafood city next to that other bakery I think its called ribbons. Not only do they have the "original" Halo Halo, they have different variety to choose from. Also comes in 3 different sizes which I like because most places come only in 1 size. The worker was really helpful and explained everything he really knew what he was talking about. I recommend coming here to get your Halo Halo fix. My goal is to try every single one they have Please don't mind my pic, it was melted because I didn't eat it right away but I promise it looked better when it was fresh

I love love love ice cream especially unique or cultural flavored ice creams so this place really pulls me in everytimeim at Seafood City. I've tried almost all their flavors mt fav is the Ubes and jackfruit. I've had the shakes, halo halo even ice cream in sweet rolls which I now make at home it's all good. To me this ice cream shop has the best halo halo I've tasted thus far.The only down fall is sometimes it gets soo busy the employees start making orders out of order so people who came after me get their order way before me but I've just learned not to go during busy times.Try new flavors, ask if they do samples, just enjoy

Inside of seafood city is Magnolia ice cream and treats for all your halo halo and ice cream needs! Love the fact that there are so many different options and flavors for their halo halo. We decided to go with the regular halo halo and buko pandan flavored milk shake. The service here is really quick and the staff are work together to make your order. The buko pandan tasted amazing and the milkshake wasn't to thick or watery. The consistency was on point. The halo halo was pretty good. The ube ice cream was a nice touch. They use shaved ice so it did melt faster but it's also refreshing to drink afterwards. There's also a place to sit to wait for your order or dine in.
