Loved the Ramen here. Since moving from town I have been looking for a good Ramen place in the area and I lucked out. The meat, egg, bamboo shot portions are generous and broth was delicious. Will come back for sure!
We decided to try here after reading yelpers' reviews, but it wasn't as great as the reviews I read. Located inside Waipahu Town Center, right next to seafood city, this ramen place was pretty good. Umi Ramen - 3.5 stars - The soup was a little watery but average, and the noodles were a little too hard, but the char siu was awesomely tender with a lot of flavor as well as the egg. Amazing portions and priced ramen. Best value and meal we had on our vacation, especially with all the daily specials they offer. The UMI Ramen challenge is ridiculous, basically three portions of noodles with all the protein fixings. A must try for the food challenge enthusiastic.
