I waited over 30 after the order should have been done and one female employee was sitting to the side on her phone watching the other girl drown. Minasa Hawaii offers an array of delicious Filipino-inspired dishes with generous portions and friendly, prompt service. Known for creative takes on classic favorites, the restaurant delights customers with complimentary desserts as a gesture of appreciation. Highly recommended menu items include the Steak plate, Lechon fries, ube churros, Calamansi Glazed Chicken, and Adobo wings. The refreshing Calamansi sparkling water is a must-try. Diners are pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's interior, and the attentive staff ensures a pleasant dining experience. Many customers praise the Calamansi wings for being flavorful and customizable to heat preference, making them a personal favorite. The food is often described as excellent quality, with meats like Calamansi chicken, kalbi, and lechon cooked perfectly and served with care. The lechon bowl, served with garlic fried rice and pickled vegetables, and the lumpia Shanghai, juicy inside and crunchy outside, are standout dishes. Although dine-in space is limited, the place operates on a order-at-the-counter system with friendly and genuine staff. Despite some minor issues like undercooked rice, Minasa Hawaii is considered a hidden gem that blends traditional Filipino flavors with a modern, fusion approach, making it a must-visit for those seeking an authentic and elevated Filipino dining experience.
