The cashier is so rude, I'm extending my hand to get my change but she just throw it in the counter. She also didn't attend the customer that's infront of me. I like pampanga kitchen specially the food but this specific cashier she never smile to the customers.
Awesome food. Just got back from military leave and couldn’t stop thinking about filipino good we have it so good here in hawaii. And how much i take it for granted
I had the combo plate, pork adobo and pinakbet. The pork in pinakbet was dry, chewy and tasted old. Eggplant was way overcooked and the pumpkin undercooked. The pork adobo tasted like it was in the refrigerator for a day or two and they warmed it up. It did not have an appealing Color or taste. Both dishes were just not good. Shame that they can mess up a staple Filipino dish. The only thing fresh was the steamed rice.
The restaurant is undergoing renovations (I think). There are foldable tables and chairs on the floor and old refrigerators not being used at the entrance. The atmosphere is hardly business worthy. There is only one menu and it is at the cashier so you have to wait in line, look at what you want while people behind you have to wait their turn to look at the menu. Thankfully it does not get busy enough to be a problem.
Customer service is decent. Nothing negative to say. I hope they take the feedback to make the restaurant better for its customers. It has potential.
Food was good, tried the lechon kawali and pancit. Lechon kawali didn't stick out but was still good. Pancit is really good. Had to ask for sauces tho. I liked how the tables are spaced out and not cramped. Service was excellent. There’s a bathroom which is a plus. Atmosphere is nice and open and is clean and organized. Overall great place!
