The food was amazing! Friendly service: You can dine in or choose to take out via phone or in person. Parking available.
Delicious Filipino food. Never mind the atmosphere, food is delicious.
Being an Americanized Filipino, I become tired of the typical everyday American diet... even for me, I miss my Nanays (my mothers) cooking of the filipino diet.
I miss the filipino food I grew up knowing.
So my fiance suggested Thelmas.
I've only been here once before with a friend for breakfast, but it wasn't exactly memorable for taste. But coming here to try it a second time during lunch...
I got the Pork Adobo and Pork Sinigang.
Having those two items off their menu brought satisfaction to my need for my own cultures food. I'll most likely come back here again for my fill on filipino food when I need it.
Worst halo-halo I ever had. Very watery, all milk, very little crushed ice. Poor service as well. The two waitresses were speaking Filipino (but I understand) were going at each other on who should make it. Their attitude was inappropriate.
Just like home
Great food at a great price. We tried the adobo chicken rice, pancit, dinuguan, chicken papaya, and pork adobo. Everything was really good.
I ordered an uber eats and I noticed meat are not fully cooked. I tried to call the store but nobody answer, I do not recommend!
didn't let me use the restroom
Went in and tried the pork gisentes let me tell you it was better than any other place that has filipino food da bomb
Took my filipino friend from the mainland here since he wanted authentic Filipino food so Waipahu it is🤙Little crowded but we were seated right away.
Havent been here for a while so ordered the Thelmas Special. Was underwhelmed when the dish came out since it used to be much better portion wise. Friends order looked way better than mines 😥 At least the coffee was good....better places down the road. 3 stars

Service was incredibly friendly, food was wonderful-almost as good as Lola’s ;)
Food was wonderful, just like home! Service was amazing. If you’re looking for a place to grab some tasty Filipino food this is it!
Ordered our lunch through a delivery service. I was very disappointed with my order of Lechon Kawali.
The pork was in strips, there were no diced tomatoes, onions were sliced not diced, and it did not come with the rice.

Whoever Thelma is, she deserves a kiss. We knew this was the spot when it was the only busy restaurant on the block and full of local families. The server was so funny and sweet and everything we ordered was phenomenal, to the point we ordered takeout for later mid-meal. The lechon was mega crispy, the lumpia comes out piping hot, the pumpkin green bean a crowd favorite, the combo meals a great deal, and halo-halo amply abundant. Get ready for kanak attack after ?
