Changed it up and came down to this old timers spot for a couple drinks after dinner🤙
Free karaoke on Saturday so the regulars were already there singing their favorite songs. Bartender and server was friendly, generous pupus to help downing the affordable shots. A place where all the regulars make you feel welcomed in the heart of Waipahu. 4 stars.

There’s always a 1st 4everything 💯 It was my 1st at STAR LOUNGE and I wanna send a HUGE LOUD SCREAM 😱 TO bartender KIMMI for the warmest ALOHA 🤙 and GOOD VIBES 💥 I will definitely be back 💯 And 2 everyone else I met 2day I can see why you guys keep going back 💯 Big LOVES ❤️ to everyone who was there on 1/7/2026 xoxo 💋
Had many awesome experiences at Star Lounge- tonight wanted to get out for a little while to sing & relax with friends, was told to stay home and not come in. I understand I cannot drink alcohol or liquor due to health issues (told the owner that I would drink green tea) still told me not to come in; 2 months ago they had no problem with me going when I spent nearly $600.00 in one night. I don't regret spending the monies on the workers and friends- just needed some socialization!!

The Star Lounge is a great place to hang out, watch sports, and sing karaoke. The food is great, and the drinks are very reasonable. The owner is sweet and takes care of the customers. It's a typical local neighborhood bar with awesome beer prices and a very friendly staff. The service may take some time, but the servers are fantastic. It's a great place to enjoy some after-work drinks. The bar features lots of great singers, including beautiful Hawaiian songs sung with love and passion. The service and cocktails are excellent, and the locals treat visitors with love and aloha. It's a totally local-style bar with a crew of veteran professionals working the bar, and the regulars are welcoming to newcomers.
