Every time we come here we're so happy with everything! Goat delicious, pork adobo yummy, my husband loves the pinakbet, turon perfect delicate crisp with appropriate thin drizzle of syrup, BEST halo halo I've had on the island, and generous serving sizes. I was craving some Filipino food and looked inside Filipino Express. The place reminds of the food stands in Chinatown with a variety of precooked food. You choose what you want and they charge you according to your selection. So I ordered all kinds of things (don't go looking for food when you're hungry lol) and surprisingly they were all good like home cooked meals. They even have vegetables for sale in the middle of the restaurant!

It is a nice place. The unfortunate thing is that these types of restaurants no longer offer combo meals. You pay for each food item. A 1/2 lb cup of a dish costs between $6.75-7.75. A scoop of rice is $1.75. The rice scoops are pretty small, so you probably want two. That means a two-item combo will cost $17 minimum.
