On 5/17/2024 I was in the Waipahu area
for an appointment and I had the feel for chinese food. I stopped in to grab some lunch and met a nice young lady at the register who helped me with choosing a meal. I was the 3rd paying customer of the day, as noted on my receipt. I ordered char siu chicken fried rice and a separate side of char siu pork. I was so excited to eat it so as soon as I sat down in my car, I took a bite of my fried rice. I immediately had to spit it out because I realized the chicken had a very strong pungent odor and tasted rancid, the pork was also not fresh as well and was clearly reheated. This experience was very disappointing especially because it was early in the day when the food should have been the most fresh ? I love to support businesses by leaving positive reviews but unfortunately I had to share a negative review for this restaurant because the food was rancid and could have led to someone getting sick. I returned the food and received a refund but the lady at the counter did tell me that others came after me, ordered the same fried rice and didn't have a problem with the food. I advised her that if they didn't do a better job in the kitchen and having better quality control, someone will get sick or worse even... die from eating bad food here. I hoped this was a one off, but after reading other posts here I believe this has been a consistent issue for this restaurant and they haven't cared much to fix the issues. This is my honest experience and I hope no one has to experience eating rancid food here in the future.

Called them to see if they have any soups without a flour base for gluten free. She said over the phone it was only the vegetable soups. Yay! Ordered the chicken veggie soup on Uber eats. Was on lunch at work and needed a spoon. Asked for utensils. Well, not only did I pay for priority (short time delivery and prep) it took so long to prepare that it finally was able to be delivered in the last 15 mins of my shift! Soup: hot as heck. But literally the worst excuse for veggie soup I have ever seen. Literally clear water with ginormously cut veggies floating in it. Hard tough not cooked veggies. Only the spinach was ok. The chicken was Legitimately Rubber. Inedible. Awful. After I ate the spinach and veggies in like 5 bites, all that was left was water and rubber chicken. And they forgot the requested utensils! How was I supposed to eat soup without a soup spoon?? Horrid. Save your money. Go anywhere else.

NEVER GO BACK AGAIN Under new management food was terrible, service, and sweet sour sauce there was a charge also a dine in fee. I don’t mind the dine in fee if the service was great.

Great food, reasonable prices, but they wanted to charge $1.00 for extra sweet/sour sauce extra for the gau gee. Under new management. Place has been redecorated so don't trust the old pics. Don't order the duck. Mine was RAW inside. Order the fried chicken instead.

Food had no flavor, way too much money for bad food. Better off going to panda express. Worst chinese food on island.

They have good food and friendly service. I come here every so often when I am hungry for Chinese food. Plus, it's closer to my home, so it's very convenient for me instead of traveling far for the nearest one.

It's been years sinced we've dined here when the plate lunch was about $5. What?! Now it's little over $9 and it's really not worth it: Cold and tough kau yuk, fatty sweet-sour spare ribs, no meat in the crispy won ton; good noodles & gau gee; friendly service. Maybe we didn't know what was good to order as there were 4 tables full. I definitely won't return there again.
WOW! Really delicious, huge servings, and great prices. I was shocked at how much pork and veggies I got in my chow mein. The pork was very tasty and the veggies were fresh and cooked perfectly. This one meal ended up being 2 full meals for me.
The food was delicious, the waitress was friendly and very nice. I especially enjoyed the beef with bitter melon and the fish with ginger/ onion yumm.
