We were visiting Algona and ate lunch on a Saturday, about 1pm. The restaurant wasn't busy but there were enough diners to demonstrate it was a reasonable place to eat. We had fish tacos and Chili Verde. Both were good and plenty of food. The service was also good.
Being from Texas, I was surprised to find that some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten is from Iowa. This place is great and the service is outstanding. It will always be a place I visit when I'm in town.
We had our family of 12 walk in on a Saturday afternoon. The owner immediately sat us down and brought out an extended table for all of us to be able to sit together. The hospitality and service was AMAZING! They were quick, attended us often, and were super friendly. He took care of us with zero hesitation and a great attitude.
