Not impressed. Food was barely warm. It came out to the table suspiciously fast which made me think that it was just microwaved to heat & apparently not long enough. I dislike lukewarm microwaved food especially at current high prices. It should be made fresh. Not inclined to return.
First time I've been to this location. The greeter was very friendly and seated us immediately. Our server Juan was extremely friendly and quick to bring the food. The food was also excellent and the restaurant was clean as well.

Food was ok. Service, however, was awful. There were only 2 other customers in the place. Waitress brought drinks right away but took 14 minutes to come take our order. Waited and waited for the check to come. Paid with cash. Waitress took it. Brought back only the dollar amount. No change. Had to ask for a receipt. Will not be back!

Walked in and stood for nearly a minute or two with the guy on his cell phone. Mind you he saw me come in. Then he walks off and I said F it and sat down.
" Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you there " uh huh nice try buddy. All I ordered was a drink.
Good food and service but was really put off by prices. I know everything has gotten more expensive but $3.99 for a twelve oz glass of Pepsis just plain greedy. Wont be back - kids menu prices were far from kid friendly

Nothing was made right orders were not right was absolutely the most disgusting food I have ever had. My eggs were practically raw sent them back 3 times still not right. my toast was basically like it was pulled out of the bag. Out of the 5 of us we will not come back

I only give it a single star because a rating is required. Our little town needed a good diner that was open late, as we have limited food options here. We go back every few months to see if it has improved at ALL and it is worse every single time. The food is ALWAYS so burnt u sometimes can't even bite into it, and cold at the same time. I have never once had a hot plate of food there... And they never ever ever bring you your full order at once it's always spaced out like they will bring you your main dish for example, it will be cold and then TWENTY+ minutes later bring you ice cold toast that is burnt. Everything is always always covered in sticky syrup, the chairs, the condiments, the "clean silverware" and don't you dare put your hands or arms on the table because it will be sticky... good luck ever getting a refill. No matter how many times the wait staff changes, it's like they are trained to do exactly the opposite of wait on you. I finally finally decided it was never worth trying again when I got violently ill the last time we went. Also the tickets are never correct either. I would choose a hot dog from the gas station next door that's been on the rollers for 8 hours before choosing ihop in algona. From a local, just don't do it.

My son and I stopped for breakfast this morning. We were seated immediately and within 5 minutes were ordering our food. We got our plates in just over 15 minutes. The omelets were absolutely perfect and delicious and so were the pancakes. Our waitress was a young gal I feel bad that I didn't get her name because she was very friendly and welcoming and returned to our table to check on our multiple times. I left her a $10 tip and my son also tipped her very well. I highly recommend this place. And we drove 50mins from estherville to eat at this IHOP and we're very happy that we did. We will definitely be back for breakfast.
