Canes is my “depression meal” and there is no better location than the one here in Altoona. Food is always fresh and fast! Staff are always very kind and get me in and out the door quickly. Highly, highly recommend!
This was our first time at Raising Cane's. The chicken was excellent! The cane sauce that comes with it is very good. I gave it a four-star for atmosphere because it was pretty loud. I was surprised that the employees were allowed to wear baggy black(faded)denim shorts. They appeared clean, but, in my opinion, these didn't seem like restaurant uniform type attire. Service was great, friendly, efficient & fast.
New update- portions are smaller and drive thru wait has gotten worse.
The chicken is always good. It is one of the few restaurant fast food chains that can keep their food perfectly consistent each time. If there is a complaint, it is the cost and the long wait times in the drive thru.
