1+1 is honestly my favorite restaurant in Ames. When I first moved in my landlord recommended it to me and now I always recommend it to others. I love their Mongolian Beef, but the rare time I get something else I always find it delicious. The restaurant has fantastic vibes and is very cozy inside. really nice little lunch spot! was looking for lunch near campus and thought id give it a try. i had the ribs with soybean paste, i've never had something like that and i really loved it! highly recommend stopping in.

Was in town and had the pleasure of ordering take out. Tried out the sesame and general chicken. Most restaurants never differentiate the two. For once, 1+1 distinctly nailed exactly what I was looking for with each. Great crew and great food!
