The only issue we've ever had here is that one time my chicken sandwich had a large piece of fat on it.

I went with my wife for a quick lunch today during my lunch break, it took them 30 minutes to prepare a sandwich and a salad. I ultimately asked them to change the order to takeout and after all that waiting, the grilled chicken was basically half raw, very chewy.

I do like the vibe of this coffee shop :) It would have been better if I can have my drink in a mug or glass cup instead of single-use disposable cup!
Great place!! I come here every time my family and I visit Iowa and it is probably one of the best coffee places out there and I am a huge coffee connoisseur. I think my favorite thing to get is probably the chai, but everything there is really good. Highly highly recommend!

Today, I had the best drink I have ever had, and it was at Cafe Diem. I indulged in the iced strawberry cold foam matcha latte. It was perfect. Cafe Diem is a great place to study or catch up with a friend. It is so cozy and the baristas are very friendly. I also had the pleasure of having a chicken salad sandwich. Thank you to whoever cheffed that up! New favorite coffee shop in Ames! 💯

I like the location of this coffee shop it is fun to have one right on Main Street. There drinks and food are a little overpriced in my opinion compared to other coffee places in town. Their bakery items are really good and their chai is okay. The space is small so sometimes you will not find seating and it can get loud because it’s a smaller space. Overall pretty good coffee spot!
