The place mainly caters to the young college students who prefer takeouts/delivery. It has sit-in place also. The food is freshly made and delicious. The owners are also super nice and courteous.

We come here every time we're back to visit Ames, and the food is delicious! Everything is well spiced and I love to order a variety of dishes to share with friends.

My husband and I ordered the Vegetarian Dinner for 2 to go. We chose a spicy level of 2. Next time we will go with 3 or 4. Everything was very tasty - from the samosas (hot and crispy, delicious filling) to the 3 main dishes - a dal, a paneer dish and a veggie dish (aloo gobi) plus rice (I think it was Basmati). We also ordered raita and mango lassi (exceptionally flavorful and not too sweet). Gulab jamun for dessert is always my favorite - delicate honey rose flavor. More food than we could eat. Very good the next day warmed in the microwave. The venue is very basic - mostly geared toward takeout. We have been to India and this food was as good as what we ate there. We will be back, definitely. The owners were friendly and wanted to be sure we had a good experience. We did!

Absolutely wonderful! They are so nice and inviting. The food is excellent! We've been back many times and will continue to return.
An excellent place for Indian cuisine where no Indian can get choice of low spices as well. Food is made and served on order so one can find his/her tastes as per choice.

Guys it's Ames, IA. The food is on par with a big city. I'd order from this place if it was there. I'm glad to see it survived the pandemic. Please don't condemn the only place in a 30 mile radius

Quiet atmosphere, friendly staffing. Food was great, and spice level was perfect!
Food is phenomenal! Little bit of a wait, but I would assume everything is made in house. Portions are very generous, we have enough for another meal. Didn’t snag any photos because I just dive right in, but the lamb curry, samosas, and naan were all fantastic! Husband had the lamb tiki masala, and he said it was tasty.
I swear this is the best Indian food I’ve had since I was in Japan having it. We have always tried multiple locations wherever we travel to and this is by far the most flavorful and delicious. We’ve only done takeout, but I wouldn’t care about the atmosphere inside based on how good the food is 🤤
Firstly over Prices, amount was not sufficient compare to the price. Food was not good, even not cooked well, they even didn’t put salt in the curry!
Waste of money.
Amazing food!!!
