Joy’s mongolian is the best Chinese food in town. Joy herself is super kind and is always willing to go the extra mile. You can tell every dish is made with love and care, and i’ve never had a bad experience

Food is excellent. Reasonable prices and huge portions. Service is sometimes a little slow - but it is usually only one person up front so pretty understandable. The actual building is a little dilapidated, but the food makes up for it. Two people can split an entree here, very good value.

Food was so buss. The lady who took our order was super nice and gave us water while we waited for take out. The wait wasn’t bad (20ish minutes) and the food came out super hot. After we paid and walked out the door the lady ran after us to give us a “Calpico” drink for free.

Ordered in while visiting my daughter in Ames. She was raving about the food. It was fantastic, really nice flavor for an Asian takeout. Would certainly recommend!

I like the food here. Quality dishes.
Great spot in Ames that is close to campus. The service is fast and professional, and the food comes out quickly. Takeout is very streamlined and simple, and the menu is large with a variety of options. Would reccomend for anyone looking for a new restaurant!

Waited an additional 20 minutes past our pickup time, no apologies given, then shorted us a dollar on the change back (obnoxious considering they ask for a tip online before you even place the order). It would be a 1 star but luckily the food was good.
Very nice and polite host. The atmosphere was interesting to say the least, on the lower end of quality of the seating, decorations, and just building in general. We did however find a very large bug in our fried rice 🤢. We were given a refund and they apologized.

Across the street from the United Collegiate Methodist Church in Ames, this small restaurant has a great menu selection. Nice place for lunch after church.
