Ordered in while visiting my daughter in Ames. She was raving about the food. It was fantastic, really nice flavor for an Asian takeout. Would certainly recommend!

I like the food here. Quality dishes.
Great spot in Ames that is close to campus. The service is fast and professional, and the food comes out quickly. Takeout is very streamlined and simple, and the menu is large with a variety of options. Would reccomend for anyone looking for a new restaurant!

Waited an additional 20 minutes past our pickup time, no apologies given, then shorted us a dollar on the change back (obnoxious considering they ask for a tip online before you even place the order). It would be a 1 star but luckily the food was good.
Very nice and polite host. The atmosphere was interesting to say the least, on the lower end of quality of the seating, decorations, and just building in general. We did however find a very large bug in our fried rice 🤢. We were given a refund and they apologized.

Across the street from the United Collegiate Methodist Church in Ames, this small restaurant has a great menu selection. Nice place for lunch after church.

Food is worth the wait. Everything is made fresh to order! The Bao buns are to die for. Limited supplies, so they may run out later in the day.

Joys will forever be my favorite place to eat.
I want them to cater my wedding and my funeral and all mine and my kids birthdays. I constantly recommend them to others.
Me and my bf come here often, every chance we get I normally get dry braised potatoes with spicy pork belly. It's hands down my favorite, my second favorite is the seafood spicy hotpot.
Never been more in love with a restaurant my kids are even obsessed. It will be the last place i eat before i die straight up.
I wish I would've left a review sooner.
Thank you joys!

Excellent. I went in for lunch around noon and was served immediately. I orderer the beef and noodle soup and the portion size was incredible. I paid $16.09 for the dish. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go-- my check was hand-written in Chinese with the total on the bottom. I will absolutely be returning.

Almost over the top customer service, the lady that runs the place is very kind and generous. Do support this place. Food isn't terribly priced and is tasty.

So like many of the other reviews the food is very affordable and delicious. Now the location is very basic so I see this as a diamond in the ruff. With I was going to school near by.
