Outstanding Crab Rangoons and Fried rice was clean and not heavy. Definitely one if the best places in Ames I have had Chinese food at in a long time.

I wish I'd found this place years ago!!! Probably some of the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. The woman who took my order was incredibly sweet and very helpful, my food was delicious and hot, and there was so much that I could get 3 meals out of it easily. Seriously, best Chinese food, if you're looking for authentic and good this is a great place to go!!!

I think it’s great food, but it’s a coin flip whether I will actually get a reasonable amount of meat with my fried rice. Big takeout box full of rice and you get legitimately 3 piddly pieces of each shrimp, chicken, and beef. It’s a joke. Just be fair with your customers, it’s $12. It’s crazy the difference you’ll get at another Asian food place.

Great food and big prortion sizes for the price. The fried rice is amazing.
Food was disappointing. We ordered the chicken fried rice and seafood noodle soup (Korean style). Portions were big for a cheap price and the food came out quickly. Taste was not there.Service was alright. The restaurant had a big selection but I felt awkward when ordering because she just stares at you.. Bigger and cleaner than I expected. Quiet place.I would give this place another chance for take out only.

Best Taiwanese Place in Ames, IA. I had been frequenting this place since they were open. The owner(s) are the same as Little Taipei and Cocost which were the best Taiwanese place when I was still a poor student at Iowa State. I remember $3.17 was the price of a meal in 1994 and that kept me fed for one day. Good old days. Stopped by today on my trip to another city and to my surprise, Ah May herself was cooking the meals.

Food was meh, ambiance was rough, (paint pealing, no fish in pond, really funny bathroom note), bathrooms dirty with only 1 light bulb, price was fiiine but normally i see that vegetarian dishes are cheaper than meat but here most everything was the same price.
Cute little place! Food is always spot on. You can get American style or authentic. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
