Always like coming here good food prices and a nice arcade
We went for a child birthday party and the staff was very helpful and maybe things so easy. Also the price for everything was very acceptable.
It is a very strict place to enjoy with family and friends. I recommend a variety of games.
Great place for families and kids parties. Just bowled 3 games. It was so fun. The animations are hilarious.
Overall positive experience
Staff has been great with accommodations for my son-ramp, quieter area, lane away from big groups when possible.
Bowling lane wasn't working properly, staff kept changing names, staff was belligerent.
Went here to watch a friend do a bowling competition and it was nice inside. The food was actually good as well.
Bowling was fun. But half the games in the arcade were broken. One of the games my son won the top prize, and it did not dispense, which was a pair of headphones. Instead the cashier gave him 200 extra tickets, which I thought wasn't enough for the prize he could have won. Some of the machines, we would swipe our card and it would take our money- but we were unable to play them. Their AC was either broken or turned off and it was 95 degrees that day. Everyone was drenched in sweat. Overall not the best experience and we won't be back.
Thank to Kelly and the entire PG staff and volunteers for another great year hosting the Iowa Games state bowling finals. We understand the time it takes to prepare, organize, and pull off an event of this magnitude, and you do it well, every year. See you in 2025!

Half the arcades were broken. The Laser tag was pretty fun, however short lived at $5 a person for 7 mins. The putt putt golf was alot of fun, course definitely needs some TLC. Lots of broken speakers and divets in the course. The bowling was outrageously over priced priced! We stuck with the other activities. The kids had a blast in the little corner play set. We tried playing the arcades. After putting $80 on an arcade card we learned half the arcades were broken and this apparently seems to be the norm. This would be a great place if they actually put in the effort of upkeep.
Enjoyed the bowling- wish the arcade games weren't broken.
We had a couple visits to perfect games it’s always been okay not great but okay then today 6/14/24 a girl came over after one of our family members whistled. Upon asking for someone to come over a couple times it wasn't super loud but wasn’t necessary even so she still came over after i came to ask her to help us with a stuck ball problem. she then began to say “when ever you need our help with something theres a service button at the bottom of your device theres no need to whistle at us” and walked off in a rude manner with no reinsurance of out problem being solved or giving us proper customer service. So she knew we needed help and ignored us till i said something. I am disgusted and not satisfied at all the response to the situation did not justify what she said. She did solve the problem after said aggression. Please give your employees a good pep talk on customer service thank you.
NEVER COME HERE. The service was absolutely horrible. The waitress that was taking our order was absolutely disrespectful. She kept taking other people’s orders and ignoring us. The waitress was racist and sexist. I ordered a pizza and she asked if i wanted a taco salad instead because she knows I love it she said exactly “Because i know you love it” After we got our pizza, I saw it was cold and moldy. We asked for napkins and when she brought them out, they were super dirty. She said “I know you guys are already super dirty from hoping that border.” DO NOT COME HERE ABSOLUTE WORSE. If I could give zero stars I would.
Great concept, Ames could definitely use everything it has to offer. But, the mini golf course is better off not played, the bowling alley isn't great, the lanes are inconsistent with wax, food is edible, and games could have more variety. I see potential, but I also see more lack of maintenance, lack of employee confidence, and consistency. A lot of work needs done if they want to stay open for much longer. More like, "imperfect" games.
