doordashed this place for the first time tonight. im not a huge fan of mexican food but there was a deal and we decided to get it. we ordered two quesabirrias. the food was absolutely fantastic! everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly, we will be ordering again!!!

Honestly really disappointed. Window service was mediocre. Wait time was fair. Got home excited to eat my food (mega quesaburria) and I crack it open, looks great, smells good. I take my first bite, all meat, no problem but it doesn’t taste like much. Okay fine, second bite, cheese and such, still hardly any flavor. The food is simply bland. 100% recommended something else!

Ames is not known for Mexican food at all. This place though is a hit. This little trailer food truck is a hit and I’d recommend if you have the itch for a good taco with lime and onions in it.
It gave me the feeling of being in Texas without being there!

Bought 4 steak tacos here. With spicy sauce. Looks just like the pictures you see here. Hot, fresh, delicious. Why got to chipotle or pancheros for twice as much when you can just get much better here. Seriously.

By far the best tacos in Ames, lots of flavor. The sauces have very good flavor, both the green and the red. We loved the birria cake, the best birria broth in Ames.
