Stayed in Anamosa last weekend to visit family and was told Debs bar had a dart board. Went there and the dart board was not working. No AC, it was 95 outside, a guy walked up and said hi Brad, my name is Grant. Police walked through the place which is always pleasant (not). Lost 100 on there keno/slot machines and the bar had a jar to try and win a shot. Won one, the bartender said you can only win two and it was the size of a thimble, smallest shot glass I have ever seen. Final item was they take cash only lol. Go to Tuckers, they have great calzones.

I visited this bar on Saint Patrick's Day for the first time, and it left a great impression. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a laid-back crowd enjoying themselves without any rowdiness. Everyone seemed friendly and focused on their own conversations, creating a calm and enjoyable vibe.
While I didn’t get a chance to meet Deb, I did meet her husband or significant other (forgive me, I can’t remember exactly), and he was genuinely down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I only had a couple of beers during my visit, but another patron ordered a tenderloin that looked and smelled absolutely incredible, even from a few seats away. Based on that alone, I’d definitely recommend trying the food when you visit.
They also have karaoke every Sunday from 3-7pm, and on alternating Sundays, they combine karaoke with an open mic session. What makes it even better is that it's kid-friendly, so you can bring the family along.
As a bonus, they offer free pool nights—I believe it's on Tuesdays, though I might be mistaken on the exact day. Either way, it’s a nice perk.
Although I've only been there once, I’d recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area.

Bar hours according to Google maps says your open till 2am Sunday thru Saturday..And I tried coming here Sunday night, closing down at 10:48 on a Sunday, ridiculous. Avoid this bar bar owners are terrible owners, I will never come back not a second chance this bar should be shut down

I went in alone , Sang Karaoke, Loved the atmosphere and all staff and people there was nice. Fast service to get drinks n food too. I recommend and small, nice , fun, but not crazy bar !!! Thank you for good night out!!!
