July 24th, my wife and I stopped in for the first time? our server Lori was so friendly and really enjoyed her job and talking with us. We found out her mom Elena and stepdad Eldon (hopefully spelling/names are correct) are in the back cooking away and WOW, this is “REAL FOOD” the coconut cream was from scratch as was the rhubarb custard, neither were over sweet and you can tell the “LOVE” that went into making the pies and food? I can’t wait to get back for more food and pies

They cut back on hours .Need Friday night food service for sure.Building needs a up date and to have more selections on salad bar.More pie choices and up dated paint and decor.

We've gone there frequently. But next time will be determined after the last time when ordering a Ground Beef Steak and it came out as a blob on the plate.Upon cutting into it, it was raw and cold.Yes, Cold!Nasty.Yes, It was sent back.

Our 1st time there. Went with another couple & we all enjoyed our food. The salad bar was good as well. There were a lot of other folks who appeared to be regulars & quite happy. Our server was good as well. We will be back!

The food here is absolutely delicious. The soup I had was homemade and could not have tasted better. I had the cod fish dinner. It was served hot, plated beautifully and tasted wonderful. We also had homemade rhubarb clustered pie. What a treat. It was as good as my moms. We will definitely be going back.

We came for breakfast while camping at Maquoketa Caves. What a great stop! The food was amazing and priced right. The family who own it was friendly and inviting. Highly recommend!

Great place for breakfast, open early. Crisp hash browns and bacon, delicious biscuits and gravy, and hot coffee made for a perfect breakfast. Prices are amazingly low to this city feller.
