Redwood Steakhouse is an old-school, traditional steakhouse that feels like a time capsule from the past. The ambience is top notch with a great flare from the locals. The service is amazing, great, very nice, and sweet.
The food is excellent and has wonderful flavor, with a huge amount of food served. The ribeye steaks are awesome, cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The fried gizzards are hot and cooked to perfection, served with house made ranch. Each table receives a relish tray with a huge variety of Midwest bites, including cheese spread, olives, and some homemade items; it is very fresh and delicious. The Redwood Specials are also recommended. Meals like the sirloin and hash browns are amazing. Beer is really cold and the mixed drinks are enjoyed. Ice cream dessert drinks add to the experience.
An old timey jukebox, sometimes a .25 jukebox, adds to the memorable and special atmosphere. This gem is highly recommended and worth the trip off I-80.
