They were fast to respond to any requests I had and were flexible to work with. I really appreciate the customer service I received. We get cakes every year from the Ankeny, IA location and they are great every time!
If only the customer service matched the cookies. We love the cookie cakes and ordered frequently for special occasions but too many times our order has been lost or inaccurate so we no longer order here. Such a shame because we really do like the cookies! The last time was the last straw for me. I ordered a week in advance. My husband went to pick it up and not only was it not made but they couldn’t even find my order. She offered to make it for free but I had already paid....read full review

When I was a kid, we used to always get cookie cakes from Great American Cookies for any family birthday. But the store near our home (Illinois) went out of business 20 years ago. So when I saw there was one I'd be driving very close to in Iowa while on a road trip, I had to stop. It tastes EXACTLY the same. What a blast from the past. I'm glad a few of these stores still exist although I miss having one close to me.
