Took my kids here. They each got ice cream, and I got a cookie.First, I always feel like places like this (here, and their most obvious competitor, Cold Stone) are a bit overpriced, likely because of their gimmick.That said, this place definitely doesn't skimp on the amount of ice cream they give. From ice cream cones to shakes & even cookies, Marble Slab Creamery has a lot to offer. It’s nicely decorated, and the staff is very friendly & helpful. This is the perfect place to go when you’re in need of a treat. It’s all so delicious!

I was opposed to the flavor of cheesecake ice cream. Unfortunately, the The texture was changed because they removed the cheesecake pieces. I'm not sure if it is because of the different locations. The sweet one with cheesecake chunks was in Denton, Texas. The one that was kinda of bad and without chunks was located on Smokey Mountain. I hope I find the one with cheesecake chunks here on Ankeny.
