Bar tender was friendly and did a great job, and the wait staff served happily and quickly. Chef did a great job and entertained and engaged us, while we had delicious food at the hibachi grill. The sashimi salad - incredibly sophisticated ginger-based sauce and amaranth shoots with freshest fish; and the scallops over Japanese eggplant, leek, and Iowa sweet corn was one of the best entrees of my life. Had the shrimp teriyaki with a salad. Salad was awesome- simply because it had more than lettuce! Broccoli, edamam, red onion, carrots...yay. The shrimp was overcooked, but still a good dish. I should have done fried rice, forgot how boring white rice is. Also did the scarlet sushi roll. A little spice, not too much. Had crab on top and I forgot what fish in the middle. Tasty.

Had my food in 5 minutes. Clean space. Plenty of seating for a quick lunch. Miss of booths, tables, high top. Parking a little tight and I missed the entrance the first time around. My fault.

$25 before tip. I had enough food for 2 meals, so that isn't too bad. Will visit again.“
