This JJ location saved my wedding! My dad picked up JJ lunch for our wedding party and accidentally drove off with his suit on top of his van. He called me, and to my horror, told me his suit was somewhere on the interstate between Ankeny and Des Moines 😱 He then called Jimmy John’s, and the employees spotted it on the on-ramp outside. They went out and brought it safely back to the restaurant where my dad could pick it up. Above and beyond service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Also the sandwiches were good.

I had the spicy east coast Italian lettuce wrap and it was amazing. The staff greated us as we walked in with smiles on their faces. The restaurant was very clean with nothing out of order. We were told goodbye and thanks for stopping in as we left. Over all this was a great experience!

Definitely not freaky fast! There was one car in front of me ordering food through the drive-thru and it took them 9 minutes to get their food and 10 minutes for me to get my food. There's no reason for me to have to wait. Almost 20 minutes in a fast food drive-thru.

This review is only for the location on 113 SE Delaware in Ankeny. One of the worst managed locations, there hasn't been drive thru ordering for several weeks with a sign on the menu board saying to order at the window so it's very slow. I order through the app to speed up things, I waited for 20 minutes at the drive thru to pickup, after I drove off I realized I was short a sandwich so I had to go back. I was very frustrating.

Always friendly, though at $14 for a sandwich, chips and soda you can go to a nearby sit down restaurant and get a plated meal for less than that. Yowza.

This is usually my “go-to” JJ’s. Their inability to get their drive thru speaker fixed for over a month has made me look elsewhere for a convenient lunch option. Spend the money to fix it and maybe you’ll see an uptick in sales.

They are either slow to the point of taking over an hour from order time till food arrives or they can't deliver your order because your doing cash payment and they choose to use Uber instead of having people to actually do delivery.
