I'm usually a silent critic, but I have to address the "ramen" I was served yesterday (3/17/2025) was not to a basic standard. It's unfortunate to say, but I would've preferred a bag of Instant Maruchan broth packet than what I was served. My wife and I have eaten at Mizu a few times, and while our first experience was good, our visit on Valentine’s Day was a disaster.
On our first visit, we ordered shrimp teriyaki with veggies and a few sushi rolls. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and we left satisfied. Unfortunately, our second visit was completely different.
We expected the restaurant to be busy for Valentine’s Day, and we were fine with waiting about 15 minutes...

Best fried rice in Ankeny!!! I absolutely love it here. The service is fast, the environment is nice and open, plenty of seating in this place. All around I would say this place is a 10/10 and the people are incredible, keep up the amazing work my friends!!!!
