First time there. Very busy place, but kind of cozy and warm.

The folks working the front were nice, friendly and efficient.

The nutty scone I had was sugary-sweet, moist and tasty.

I ordered a (drip) “house brew”, for myself and an Americano for my companion. Both were decent, but not a lot of complexity or flavor. It’s a simple hot black brew that’s better than our hotel coffee.

(But to be fair I’m particular about finding specialty coffee places when traveling and judge based on their black drip coffee.) Most everyone who comes for it will like it.

While we loved the atmosphere, there were no housemate syrups. Only monin syrups. There were also no gluten-free fresh baked goods other than pre-packaged options.

Got a honey pecan latte. It was good, but the espresso didn't really shine through at all. The lemon blueberry scone was tasty.

Loud music and bright lighting weren't what we expected from an indy cafe. Server was rude to us after seeing our queer themed bags. Coffee was fine for the price though.

It was a nice place to sit and visit with a friend I hadn't seen in long time.

Gal taking money/orders at 10:45 this morning was not pleasant.

Very cute coffeehouse dedicated to customer service. The cinnamon scone was absolutely delicious! It's got a lot of seating and looks like an ideal place to meet with friends.

I was only in town for a few days, but out of all the coffee shops this one was my favorite :) 10/10

It’s such a cute spot with tons of seating, workspace, and good coffee - also gluten free snack options!

I loved my coffee (I got the local honey brown sugar iced latte) and will definitely be back when I’m in the Des Moines area. Also love that it’s local

Great local coffee shop. Friendly staff, the drinks are great, even if you have to wait a few minutes for your order there is so much to look at! The eat in section is a great place to meet with people. We'll done!

Been coming here for years and always a pleasure. Not only do they have great drinks but they have wonderful coffee beans if you ever make it at home. Atmosphere is one of the best around.

Iced latte was watered down and warm when I got it. Do not recommend the breakfast sandwiches, did not even eat it.
