Rise & Grind Nutrition: Stellar Service and a Delicious Treat! Just had a fantastic experience at Rise & Grind Nutrition in Ankeny, even though it was close to closing time! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, taking my order with a smile despite they were minutes away from closing. And let me tell you, the PB Twix protein drink was absolutely delicious! It tasted like a decadent treat while still packing a protein punch. Rise & Grind definitely impressed me with their courteous service and their menu. I'll definitely be back to try more of their creations! 5 out of 5 stars!

I really like this place!! I travel a lot and try to hit different nutrition clubs in different towns. This Is one of my favorites. Great, positive vibes every time I am there. They also have a unique menu with more choices than most clubs. Will definitely keep them on my list of places to go!

TLDR: Shakes are great, hate that they always ask me to "sign in".I just want to buy the product and leave. I don't want an account of any kind, for any reason.Aside from that, I question if the staff are knowledgeable about what is in their products. I asked several times on several different visits to different works if their shakes had dairy. They said some but not all, and that the shake I specifically was getting did not. I believe this company uses Herbalife protein, which has whey and milk proteins in it, which means there is likely dairy in all of their protein products.

8.50 for a tea is pretty steep. Also, Too much sugar in all of the shakes for my liking. The workers are nice but probably won't be back. Just need to be sure I carry my protein and LMNT electrolyte packets to avoid spending $10 on a shake or tea here

I have been to rise and grind a handful of times, each time I've gotten the cafe latte shake. That one is delicious and filling for a meal replacement shake. This establishment uses Herbalife protein and you add a handful of adds ons like fat reducers, immunity boosters, etc to your teas and shakes. This time I went and tried one of their March specials shakes- the better than cake. This one doesn't take the cake for me! It was more watery than other shakes I've had- which I didn't love. And for the price tag was not worth it! I'll stick with my tried and true cafe latte next time. This place has weird hours as they aren't open all day, so make sure you check before going. They usually close at 1 pm most days. The staff is friendly and helpful each time I've been. My kids love the funky monkey shake. They also have specialty shakes for kids too. My daughter likes the tea bombs. This isn't a place we frequent as it's quite expensive, it's usually a treat for us!

They have no real product quality control or any firm listings on what’s in their tea bombs or meal shakes. It’s all sugar and caffeine. Children especially shouldn’t be drinking this and neither should the general public.

I stumbled across this place visiting Iowa and I’m so happy I did. I love how thorough the employees were at explaining how to order and what to choose according to my taste preferences. They were so helpful and kind! I got the salted snickers and it’s one of the best, if not the best, shakes I’ve ever had.
