Didn’t feel like cooking so I called to pick up some burgers on the way home.
Turns out it was a good idea.
I’m never disappointed w any of the food I’ve gotten here. I always see the owner in there greeting customers and leaving the table full of smiles.
This is the best example of local hospitality and food I can think of.

Best pizza in Central Iowa!! Great family environment, ownership, and staff!
Came here with some friends for a light lunch after hitting the Uptown Farmer’s market. Waited no time to be seated, and our server was incredibly polite and was rocking her hairdo! My party of 3 shared the chicken tender appetizer and a basket of fries. The chicken was okay—it had a stronger smell than taste, but the fry basket was huge and tasty! Overall, we had a good time chatting and hiding from the heat.
