Lots of beers from all over Iowa on a revolving stock, Always pretty ok service and just a cool overall vibe. They have stuff going on almost every night, trivia, bingo, food trucks. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. Live music , tvs playing sports and more. Come check out on of my Ankeny favorites!

Really loved this place until tonight….Had the rudest waiter of all time. First got mad that we weren’t pulling out our cards fast enough to start our tabs. Then told me that my two year old couldn’t play on the turf outside. Very disappointed.
The staff are incredible!! Monty and I love all the helpful and friendly bar tenders! Highly HIGHLY recommend ☺️

Fun brewery with something for the whole family. They have a great lids area with TV inside and an abundance of toys. Very large seating area with a stage inside. Outside seating area is equally amazing with some turf to play on. Selection of brews is next to none around here, cannot recommend enough this is worth a stop. Forgot to mention the VR golf room too!

If your just looking to chill and have a few brews ,this is your spot. They have a great selection of beer. So your sure to find one you like . They have no problem giving you a taste to find just the right beer. The service was also very good!

I came here when visiting the area for a work trip - what a great little (large) neighborhood spot! My GPS took me through a quiet residential neighborhood and I was beginning to think there was no way a large brewery would appear... but there it was at the end of the street :) I was looking for a brewery to enjoy alone after work, and the other spots I'd looked up weren't open on Mondays, so Uptown Garage won out. I'm glad they did. It was surprisingly busy for a Monday evening when I walked in, but I later found out it was a competitive jigsaw puzzle league hosted at the bar on Mondays. I love this, and it also meant the place was a bit quieter than it might normally be with a crowd that big. If it were busy and super loud, I might have given it more of a 4 star rating... the concrete floor and high ceiling won't lend themselves to keeping noise down, but I don't like rating based on hypotheticals. So for a quiet-ish weekday evening -- fantastic! There was a nice mix of families with children and adult groups gathering together.If I did have an actual complaint (ish), it would be that this isn't actually a brewery. I feel like the name is misleading. However, they do specifically serve beer from Iowa breweries so they still get full stars for having an incredible tap list and supporting local! I sat at the mostly empty bar since everyone else was at their tables doing puzzles, so my service was very attentive. I chatted with the bartender about the puzzle league and my beer preferences, and she made some good recommendations and let me try a few to see which I liked best. I had a darker stout and a hazy IPA. For a lot of the beers they also offer a 5oz pour instead of a full pint. This is genius; I don't know why other places don't explicitly offer this as well. I highly recommend Uptown Garage if you're in the area, and in the nice weather months I'm sure it is even more amazing.
