Went for a bday dinner for my wife. Mother in law joined us. Didn't get the Alaskan King Crab Legs as they were $99! I had the potatoes crusted halibut, wife had the large Lobster tail and MIL had rick shrimp. All was really good. I got a side of fried shrimp which was pretty blah. MIL had Rick shrimp which had different breading and was better. Atmosphere was blah for what I perceive to be a fancy restaurant. All in all very good and I'll be back.
One of the best seafood restaurants in the Des Moines/Ankeny area. Background. I grew up in the Pacific Ocean area (Taiwan, Hawaii, up and down the California cost). So it is fair to say I have had my share of good fresh seafood.

A good friend, and myself, stopped in here on 9/19/24, right at the dinner rush. Seating was prompt, and even though our server was running like crazy, she quickly greeted us and took our drink order within a few minutes. A little while after we got our drinks we both got our order in, and received them inside of about 20 minutes. In between we received our complimentary order of sourdough bread and butter.
