Amazing pizza and good beer. Will be back the next time I visit Des Moines. Very satisfying after a fencing tournament and the leftovers were still fantastic.

The Chicago Style (deep dish) pizza is amazing. For years, I thought one of the signature dishes called The Flying Tomato was okay, but lately I discovered their deep dish, and it's awesome. Pepsi products.

My mother and I have been coming to the restaurant for 6 yrs and the food is definitely slipping. We have decided to not come and eat here anymore. Absolutely the worst taco salad ever. It’s all lettuce for $17

Loved this place but just ordered a calzone and price on their website was 2.00 more when I paid. I don't expect to go in and pay 2.00 more then what I saw on your site. Calzone wasn't even brown. Had to cook more in my air fryer. Plus it is smaller. Update your website and shame. I won't go back. No wonder it was empty.

Wig & Pen has great food at a good price. It's not really traditional pub food, but it's tasty. Good salads, sandwiches, and their flying tomato style pizza has great a great thick crust with a slightly salty finish.

Service here is also always great & if you like your Guinness you're in luck. They also have several blacks to choose from.

Pizza which is usually wonderful was lacking pizza sauce! Maybe a couple of tablespoons and that was it!

Came here for a couple drinks and we were pleasantly surprised. All our drinks were delicious. Laid back atmosphere is nice. The overtime mule was our favorite!!

Andy aka Big A was one of the best waiters we have had in the Des Moines area.
