I’ve been going to the Ankeny Ziggi’s once a week for the past few weeks, and unfortunately, I’ve noticed a consistent issue with how my drink is prepared. I always order an iced white mocha, but each time I visit, it’s a gamble, sometimes it comes out properly cold, other times it’s served warm, sometimes it has a good amount of flavor, sometimes it's too bitter. The inconsistency is frustrating.

The cold brew was good. My oat milk latté was alright. The oat milk tasted a little off but the espresso seemed to be of good quality when I made it to the bottom of the cup. I like the espresso beans they leave as treats on your coffee. I'll probably buy a bag of them next time. The staff is really great here. We were curious about the logo and one of the baristas explained that it's coffee stirrers swirling the milk/coffee into a Z. We won't be replacing our normal coffee spot but it was nice to have a place to go while we were in Ankeny. We'll definitely try their sodas and energy drinks at some point. They seemed like huge sellers while we were there!

This was my first visit to Ziggis to grab an iced latte. It was delicious! The reason I wanted to write a 5 star review was because the lady working the drive through window was the nicest and most pleasant person I have interacted with in awhile! I wish I had gotten her name, but she really made my day!!

I love Ziggys coffee....their dirty sodas take me back to the old pharmacy fountains! It is well worth a drop in! Try the waffle breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito!

ziggis is hands down the best place for coffee, a snack, meeting with friends, and great customer service. my drink is always delicious and never too bitter or too sweet, this place has never done me wrong. the place is always clean, the staff is always ready to go. i love coming here & even the smoothies are a banger. the gluten free options are so good too. i recommend this place for everyone! i am upset that there has been construction blocking off partial access to ziggis, but its worth the detour every time. go to ZIGGIS!
So I have been coming to Ziggi’s since the week they opened. I love it and no one could ever persuade me otherwise.
Today, I messed up my order. I ordered the cocoa instead of the coffee because the names are kind of similar and I LOVE the Fireside coffee. When she handed my husband the drink I could see the word “cocoa” staring at me like a bad omen. I hate sending things back and I felt terrible because it was MY mistake. They were more than happy to make me the right thing and I’m very grateful for their hospitality.

first learned of it in Denver, now I go to the Ankeny location when I'm in the Des Moines metro ... mile high twist and peanut butter mocha blenders are phenomenal ... can't really speak to the atmosphere inside as I always use the drive through
