I have so many great things to say about Ambrosia Donuts, their amazing owners and staff. I visit each weekend and am welcomed by name. They know our “usual” order which is always welcoming! The donuts are amazing. Some of our favorites are the donut/cronut holes, cake donuts, cronuts, blueberry fritters and old fashioned!
I've come here several times and it was time to write a proper review! The staff is always friendly and helpful! This place gets busy especially on the weekends which I think is a good thing! Love to see a thriving business- sometimes the line wraps around the place when I've come! The staff does their best to keep it moving with their friendly service! The donuts taste amazing as well, and it's become my fave donut place in all of Ankeny!

We've been coming here since it was Chu Chu donuts, and the new owners haven't missed a beat. Big fan of the dough and how the donut itself is so delicious! I've had donuts where the only redeeming quality was the toppings and the dough itself was lackluster, but Ambrosia does it right.Our favorites are the best claws, apple fritters, and cronuts.Such friendly owners and staff as well!
