Food and service were top notch! If you like some spicy salsa, make sure to ask for it! So flavorful! I had a fresh watermelon margarita and my husband had the Hawaiian margarita and both were extremely good! One of the owners was there and he was kind enough to bring us dessert and a shot of tequila on the house for our anniversary! A new spot for us to road trip to for sure!

This by far the best Mexican restaurant around! The owners and staff are amazing and always go above and beyond with their hospitality. We appreciate having such a nice restaurant so close to home. Highly recommend!!!

Very good service, Shrinp cocktail soup base was a bit concentrated for my liking.Lots of shrimp in it. Looking forward to trying more. Nacho chips are very hard, thinner ones are preferred. Salsa very tasty!!

Drove an hour to town from Iowa City to get my boots resoled at the cobbler across the street. To kill some time I came for lunch and am so pleasantly surprised. Being from California my taco standards are high. This place had perfect carnitas, on delicious warm corn tortillas. Hot tasty salsa, and rice and beans on a warm plate, just how they should be. I wonder if I have more shoes that need fixin? :) Oh, also the music is so good
