Best bagels around completely eclipsed by black haired guy’s (owner?) consistently horrible customer service. Openly sighs at requests, ignores customers when they walk in the door, seems weirdly hostile every interaction. In his haste to get people out of the shop, screws up orders often. Love the bagels, so tired of the lack of service.

Thank you for being open on this icy day! We just had a baby and the wife was craving a breakfast sandwich! Your team still coming into work durring an ice storm made that new momma so happy! Thank you so much

Great bagels and fast service.
The bagels are delicious, by far the best compared to anything around here. It's too bad you can't actually sit in a booth and enjoy a little outing, like in the olden days. I also miss the great selection of vegetarian soups, hummus, and the honey grain bagels. Andrew is consistently friendly, kind, helpful, and hardworking! I'm putting 4 stars for service because some of the staff could work on being more friendly and pleasant...and smile. I'm not going to call out any names -- they know who they are.

I love a good bagel place and I was really excited to find Bruegger’s. I was on my way home and decided to pick up a dozen on the way. It’s a six hour drive for me. I get home and see that instead of 13 bagels, I only have 10. It was really disappointing since I have no good options for bagels here and since I paid to have the full amount. I would check your boxes if you do end up getting one. :/

After my 4th visit, it will be my last. 2 of the 4 visits I received rude service, particularly this last time from Andrew, who I was told is manager. Or is he owner???? I wonder since I reviewed dozens of your reviews and repeatedly found complaints about customer service and rude behavior by employees, often described as man w dark hair and glasses, Andrew!
These other reviews, one as recent as 2 weeks ago, all had same responses from OWNER (???) that this was not the service they want customers to have, but it's been going on for years.
Having described his terribly rude behavior, I will be sharing this w my friends and family.
Too bad you, owner, (Andrew???) have neglected to address this.

I'm relatively new to the Quad Cities, and I have been looking for a bagel shop. I don't know how I missed Bruegger's, which is a great option. Excellent bagels. I also ordered two bagel sandwiches, which were out of stock, so I was refunded for those and Bruegger's compensated me very fairly for the order issue.

Only been here for breakfast, however breakfast is so tasty I’ll be coming back for another meal soon. Bagels are made fresh in front you, service is fantastic, and last but not least the food is delicious! Highly recommend the Sriracha Honey Sunrise.

As good as the food is, the customer service absolutely spoiled my appetite. I walked in this morning with my friend, and started looking at the menu. It wasn't all that busy, nobody behind us, but a man with dark hair and glasses yelled at us, "CAN I TAKE AN ORDER?!" it hadn't been a full minute, and I hadn't even looked at the menu fully. We rushed to give him our order, two bagel sandwiches and a coffee. In my haste, I asked for an iced mocha instead of a chocolate cream cold brew (which is what I wanted). He scoffed, and mocked me to my face for making such an egregious mistake. I worked as a barista for a long time, and fully understand the difference, but didn't think it warranted such a reaction from this man. I took a few seconds to figure out the correct drink, and we checked out. I can't remember the last time I did not tip a service worker, being one myself, but that was beyond the pale!! The only reason I can think someone would be such a jerk is if their dog died that morning, or that they got in a car accident on their way to work. Unfortunately, there's another review on here from 3 months ago mentioning what seems like the same man displaying the same behavior. The owner responded to it, saying they would take appropriate steps to remedy the situation, but I don't think they have. Based on how self-important this man acted, I wouldn't be surprised if he WAS the owner.

Reminds me of the bagels growing up in New Jersey. Nice "bark" with an elastic bite. EXCELLENT! Went with a simple salt bagel with cream cheese. I'll be back to take a dozen back home with me to
