Had an espresso martini, and my partner had the lavender blossom and I wanted to chug the whole drink it was so excellent. Had an order of oysters which, Iowa I was very impressed. Lots of late night specials so will definitely be coming back.”

The women's restroom had one stall out of order, the other stall had some functional issues (that were addressed after being reported), and it was disappointing that the restroom ran out of hand towels within an hour of being open.The food was good. I had the Foundry Prach Salad starter, which was a large portion, so I can only imagine how much you get if you order the whole salad. We had the cheese curds app, and they were amazing! The ultimate bacon cheeseburger was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The bangin' shrimp was good but didn't have any "kick" to it, but the flavor was delicious. The avocado egg rolls with the orange sauce was amazing as well! The breading on the fish and chips was thick but if you removed part of it the flavor of the cod came through and was spot on!”

“Visited the Saturday before Easter around 7pm, no wait. Food was delicious- started with edamame and our waitress (I forget her name) recommended squeezing lime over the edamame- which was great. I had the pan seared soy glazed tofu with Brussels sprouts- they had walnuts in them which was a delicious surprise! My dude had the yakitori chicken dinner, which were marinated chicken skewers and came with green beans with almonds and rice. We both loved our meals. We also split a Black Diamond roll. So good.Vegetarian options: Pan seared tofu with the soy glaze is amazing”

“We had a last minute venue change and arrived with around 20 people, we arrived at 12:30pm on a Saturday and the manager was happy to accommodate us. The manager and his wait staff put some tables together and made us space very quickly. Saul, our waiter was extremely friendly and patient with the large group, and overall just seemed happy to be serving us. The food and service was great, overall good experience!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for large parties and we even sat the kids at their own table right next to us in their fiesta room.”

When you come to Hemispheres, be prepared to stay awhile and truly enjoy every part of your dining experience. Every single dish is cooked and created to perfection. Some favorites include the nachos (the BEST nachos you will ever have), the crab cakes, the salmon with huckleberry finishing sauce, the side carrots and risotto. You truly cannot go wrong with any item on the menu. To drink, I highly recommend the Gold Rush as well as any of their red wines. The desserts are decedent…I cannot recommend the sticky bread pudding enough. Hemispheres is truly a high class dining experience and you will not leave disappointed!”

“I got the steak and shrimp burrito GTO which is a burrito that's wrapped in bacon and cheese. The steak was very tender and flavorful. There wasn't a lot of shrimp. I really liked the bacon and cheese that the burrito was wrapped in. It was an interesting twist to a normal burrito. The burrito was a little pricey at $21 but it did feed me for 2 meals. I would get it again.”

“I went here in 2023 when I was in town for a tournament. They had a few vegan options and the food was great. I came back in January 2024 and they don't have the tofu anymore, but they have a rice and black bean bowl which was really good. The person working there said that they normally keep some tofu on hand, but it wasn't fresh when I came.”

“It's nice to have MLK day off from work - three-day weekends are great from school, and their just as good in adult life. After a day spent largely across the river in Rock Island and East Moline, I took a rest at home. I needed a night cap and some dinner however. What better way to accomplish both of those things than a quick trip out to a nearby bar?I have no other reason to traverse Central Avenue in Bettendorf. I live within a 5 minute drive of Central Ave Tap, but I don't need to visit Neil Armstrong Elementary, nor is there anything else along the road for me to visit currently. I've driven by before on my way to visit friends that live in the area, just never stopped in here ever for a drink or food. Well, that changes tonight - I needed a gin and tonic and a burger before bed!There's not too much to say about Central Ave Tap. Its a bar in the bottom half of a building all to itself. There're two pool tables, a few dart boards, and a long bar that runs the whole length of the space. Newish wood laminate floor covers most of the inside, as does the newer looking drop ceiling. There's a TouchTunes jukebox along the wall - one of the new variety that lets anyone with the corresponding phone app play anything they like with the touch of a button from their phone. Suffice to say, the space is well maintained and clean.I settled at the bar on my visit and got my gin and tonic to start. They only had well gin - Fleischmann's I think? - it was fine, made a good G&T. After a quick perusal of the menu, I settled on a burger and fries, both of which I got to watch the bartender prepare right from my seat at the bar. This was a new experience for me - the stove and, really, the entire kitchen area are right there, unsegregated from the rest of the space, to watch as you please. It was actually kind of neat, plus the food came out super fresh.I enjoyed both the burger and fries. The burger was a simple pre-formed frozen patty, but it tasted fresh all the same. The fries were crinkle cut, fried to crispy perfection. The total portion size was exactly what I needed for the evening - not too much, not too little.Given a similar urge, I'd come back here for another burger. It felt kind of weird just randomly coming here. The space had the distinct feeling of being a local pup, a sort of common space for mostly those that lived close by. I hope I didn't intrude much. “A small fast food restaurant manly dealing in Italian food, pasta and sub type sandwiches. The have various pizza options. Large sub sandwiches and pastas. Spaghetti, ravioli. You can get the pasta items al la carte or as a meal. The meal options gives you a salad and your choice of dressing and also a bread option. I choose to get the beef ravioli meal with garlic cheese bread and a salad with blue cheese dressing. The salad was delivered to my table just about at the same time that i set down. “I wandered over here while waiting for my food next door. The interior is connected to the Cheesy Cow. I wanted espresso, but they didn't have it. So, I decided on an Iced Latte. I asked for dark, strong, very little half & half, and no sugar/syrup. I got the no syrup, but there was far too much cream in it still. I drank some but ended up throwing most of it away. It's a bit of a bummer, but I'm not upset about it. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was very warm and inviting. I would still recommend people to try it out. ?”

“This place is easy to miss entirely. A bar in a strip mall shared by a T Mobile store, a salon, and an FSBO homes outlet...if it weren't for the beer and liquor neon signs on the storefront, I'd have still been wondering what the place was. I guess Google maps helped too - they tend to be pretty accurate at identifying what businesses generally do.The overall appearance of the interior is not entirely cohesive. There's the normal mix of high top table seating and stools at the bar that's common at bars. The floors are a nice looking wood laminate - that was common enough, but clean in overall appearance. The lighting is also nicely done in the space - evenly dispersed incandescent or incandescent-like suspended metal fixtures are present throughout the space, providing a warm, low light level. The ceiling area, however, is fractured in overall appearance. The area behind the bar contains 2 x 4 foot drop ceiling tiles, while the rest of the drinking space is uncovered with visible wooden support frames, HVAC ductwork, and conduit.The area behind the bar is pretty interesting. The metallic or metallic-looking patterned tile were a neat accent, especially when paired with the yellow-orange strip lighting throughout. This also provided a nice way to partially illuminate the liquor bottles displayed along the bar.I was ready to order my standard Gin and Tonic and asked the bartender what their selection of gin included. She mentioned they had an orange flavored Tanqueray, what I've now come to understand was Tanqueray Sevilla Orange. This was something new for me, so I opted to try this in a Gin and Tonic. That was a good decision, as this is one of the best Gin and Tonics I've had in a while. The drink was smooth with light orange citrus notes throughout. If this is on offer when I'm out in the future, I'd definitely get this again.Probably not at The Q, though. I know I wrote some things about the ceiling that were a little picky. These aesthetic choices don't bother me severely - general ambient noise level does, however. The music was playing at a volume just above what I'd consider too loud. The effects were clear - the other 10 or so people in the bar were all talking far louder than normal just to be heard above the music. This is a big turn-off for me when places do this. I come out for a drink or two and some generally quiet conversation if I'm in a group. This place definitely wouldn't service this need.To be fair, The Q has a back patio area that wouldn't be feasible to use in the current winter weather. I'd consider visiting again in warmer weather and sitting in this area. In the meantime, I'd probably still stop in for a drink to wait for a significant other with a salon appointment or to shop for a phone if either of those specific scenarios were to arise. There's both TVs with sports and darts to pass the time.”

“Another good restaurant near the trinity hospital. Specializes in hamburgers with a wide selection of craft beers that either they make or other iowan brewers do. You have a choice of a tall table top or a booth to set at. Many televisions surround the main room with various sports on them. When it gets warmer there is an outdoor patio thatvyou can eat as well. There is also a wine menu that you can select from as well. I choose the irish stout with a blue burger. It was a bitbover cooked for my taste as i generally prefer a rare burger and this one was medium or well done they didn't ask me how i wanted it prepared.”

“I was introduced to The Health Hub months ago by a relative and have been a fan ever since. There are so many flavor options and I have never been disappointed by any of them. I get excited at the beginning of every month to see the special shakes for that month. The only reason I force myself to workout anymore is to reward myself with a shake. Leslie is beyond awesome, she took the time to memorize our names and our usual orders. She’s always so kind and funny, even if she’s got multiple orders to fill at the time. Try it once and I guarantee you’ll be a repeat customer!”

At any rate, I happened to be doing some shopping within the HyVee that contains this Starbucks and decided to stop here for a tea and pastry. Never done this before, but felt compelled to do so today.This place has a weird look. The accent lighting fixtures in most Starbucks are present across the trellis that surrounds this location, but they do nothing to add to the functionality or overall appearance of the location, as uncovered 4 ft florescent light fixtures provide the same harsh white light common to this and most other Hy Vee locations. It's kind of a bummer - I wish Hy Vee would fix this.I got an Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade and an Iced Lemon Loaf. No issues with either - they were of the quality expected of any other Starbucks. I enjoyed both while sitting at one of the two tables adjacent to the kiosk while looking at this location's particularly strange painting that I swear every Starbucks has to have their own version of.In summary, the food and drink of this Starbucks was standard fare, but the grocery store ambiance took away something from the experience. I think if Hy Vee fixed their lighting around the Starbucks, this would be better. Don't know how they'd do that - maybe add a separate drop ceiling around the area to make it a little darker? Anyway, thanks Starbucks!Vegetarian options: Plenty of coffee, tea, and pastry will satisfy the meatless consumers among us.Kid-friendliness: None of the employees seemed anti-child. Specific to their seating, there aren't child seats.Parking: There's a large parking lot available outside the Hy Vee that can also be used by those wanting to partake in this Starbucks.Wheelchair accessibility: There's no real wheelchair seating right at this Starbucks. If needed, however, you could probably go to the Hy Vee dining area close by to find something suitable.”

We never had to ask for refills or when our food was coming because everything flowed like a well choreographed dance. The food was worth every penny and then some! Meaty wings, sauced just right. Crisp and hot french fries. Outstanding taco pizza. Grilled to perfection burger and the salad didn't make me feel like I was eating less than while trying to make better choices eating out. The Daytona Sauce is delicious and we couldn't have been any happier with our visit!”

“Visited the Saturday before Easter around 7pm, no wait. Food was delicious- started with edamame and our waitress (I forget her name) recommended squeezing lime over the edamame- which was great. I had the pan seared soy glazed tofu with Brussels sprouts- they had walnuts in them which was a delicious surprise! My dude had the yakitori chicken dinner, which were marinated chicken skewers and came with green beans with almonds and rice. We both loved our meals. We also split a Black Diamond roll. So good.Vegetarian options: Pan seared tofu with the soy glaze is amazing”

“The overall atmosphere of the restaurant design was modern with lots of wood accents, large open spaces, and nice patio area. The women's restroom had one stall out of order, the other stall had some functional issues (that were addressed after being reported), and it was disappointing that the restroom ran out of hand towels within an hour of being open.The food was good. I had the Foundry Prach Salad starter, which was a large portion, so I can only imagine how much you get if you order the whole salad. We had the cheese curds app, and they were amazing! The ultimate bacon cheeseburger was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The bangin' shrimp was good but didn't have any "kick" to it, but the flavor was delicious. The avocado egg rolls with the orange sauce was amazing as well! The breading on the fish and chips was thick but if you removed part of it the flavor of the cod came through and was spot on!”

“This Wendy's is good. They are faster than the average Wendy's. Some of the employees are quite rude. But Autumn, one of the Managers is the Best. She made sure that we had what we needed and the one thing that was incorrect, she made sure it was resolved in a quite fast time.”

“Another good restaurant near the trinity hospital. Specializes in hamburgers with a wide selection of craft beers that either they make or other iowan brewers do. You have a choice of a tall table top or a booth to set at. Many televisions surround the main room with various sports on them. When it gets warmer there is an outdoor patio thatvyou can eat as well. There is also a wine menu that you can select from as well. I choose the irish stout with a blue burger. It was a bitbover cooked for my taste as i generally prefer a rare burger and this one was medium or well done they didn't ask me how i wanted it prepared.”
