“I went here in 2023 when I was in town for a tournament. They had a few vegan options and the food was great. I came back in January 2024 and they don't have the tofu anymore, but they have a rice and black bean bowl which was really good. The person working there said that they normally keep some tofu on hand, but it wasn't fresh when I came.“
“A true QC institution. Tacos are great! I don't get here very often, but every now and then I have a craving for the hard shell tacos and I drive the two blocks to get my fix. This night I walked in at around quarter till 8. Nobody else was dining and I could tell the three employees wanted to leave. As I started back out to my car I was assured they could get me some quick tacos though. And quick they were. Delicious too. These are the sort of tacos that you probably grew up eating on taco night at home. Ground beef with lots of "taco" seasoning, lettuce, tomato, and "cheese". They're about as inauthentic as they come, but they sure are tasty. The general atmosphere supports this sort of food too. The walls are a shade of yellow slightly lighter than the cheese on the tacos, the carpet is that thin sort some restaurants used to have 40 years ago, and the outside looks like stucco but maybe isn't? I don't know - I also don't care. The tacos are delicious and I'm coming when I want them.Just to be clear, none of this is sarcastic. I legit like the tacos here. Just being abundantly clear on that point.I look forward to my next kinda late night taco run to Rudy's. Thanks for continuing to be the iconic Quad Cities institution that you are Bettendorf Rudy's Tacos. I'll see you next time.Vegetarian options: You can order multiple of the dishes with beans instead of meat.Kid-friendliness: There are booster seats and high chairs available for use. I've seen kids here before. They enjoy Rudy's Tacos.Parking: There is ample free parking in the lot outside the front of the restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Probably hard to make tacos keto or Paleo friendly. Try one of the salads - you could probably request ingredients specific to your diet needs.“
“So glad we made the trip to Swannys! My wife and I ordered a large sausage & mushrooms pizza and it was fantastic! Fast friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping.Parking: Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.“
“Everything from the food to the staff to the truly authentic environment is simple and satisfying. Great food. The staff truly cares for their customers. They may be a small resturant but truly mighty. Great food, great service , great pricing.Kid-friendliness: The staff is amazing. Such a wholesome relaxed family environment.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs very easy to get in and out of“
“I've always passed this place and was curious about the food. Finally got the chance to try it..and WOW! So good!!! The burrito had a generous amount of steak, plus, the fresh tomatoes, rice, sour cream, etc was the perfect balance. It was pretty big, I could not stop eating it! The sauce that comes with it has the right amount of spice and flavor..which is good because I don't like too much heat. The elote was fresh, tacos were amazing, mangonada was refreshing. This place is really a gem tucked away! I will be back. It reminds me of the Chicago taco spot back home. Good variety of items and the food is sooo good!“
“You get exactly what you expect, which has some nostalgia attached to it. While we frequent more traditional Mexican restaurants usually, we had to visit Rudy's. I hadn't been to one in over 20 years. Very friendly wait staff!“
“Great food and drinks!! Highly recommend the Fuzzy Leprechaun and the OG tacos. Great atmosphere. Only bad thing, it was a cold night, and we couldn't sit on the patio. Definitely must stop in and try it. You'll be in for a fun surprise on your way to the restrooms!“
“Need signs that day no table service. Legit. People sit for 20 minutes wondering where the staff is. Rice anf pulled pork is 2 die for. Been there twice 6 months apart, always out of crab cakes and beer. The chow is great but the restaurant needs management and help. And don't say they can't afford help. Dinner for 2, no table service was like 50 bucks.“
