I’m Chicago born and raised, so yeah—I don’t play about my pizza. Deep dish, tavern-style, Sicilian… I love it all. So when my friends kept talking up Smash Pizza, we decided to try it for Mother’s Day.
It’s a cute, smaller spot, so just know you might have to wait or do takeout. But the staff made it worth it—our waitress (purple ponytail, wish I caught her name!) was so warm and helpful with recommendations.

Try the bee sting pizza and tell me it’s not the best pizza you’ve ever had
Great find for us! I can’t have dairy and they make a dairy free pizza that tastes just like real cheese! The bread plate was amazing and the wine list impressive! We will be regulars!
