My second time here. The first time was a chicken bowl and the second time was a carnitas bowl. Both times the food was excellent, much more flavorful and fresher than the corporate competitors. The staff is friendly and more than willing to explain the menu and make recommendations. Will definitely be visiting more often.
California Burrito is so much better than the popular Mexican chain fast food restaurants. Everything I've had there has been fresh and delicious. I feel like these are hidden gems in the QC. If you're looking for a quick bite, this is it!
They are very efficient during lunch break, it took me approximately 10min to walk-in, order, pay and leave the establishment! Quite nice.
The owner is friendly and made conversation with customers as he filled orders.
